If you have several people in your group, the 3 bedrooms provide ample sleeping space. As stated in the listing there is a rock path with stairs to get to the unit, so if you have difficulty walking it probably won't be the right choice for you. The only complaint I have is the insulation between the upstairs and the lower unit. People walking upstairs could get a little loud at times. Overall not a bad stay.

Great lower level of a house with all the amenities needed. House if very well equipped. I was there to meet friends to ride for 12 days. Sheila let me use the garage to leave bikes inside. Nice back porch to enjoy the birds and squirrels. The riding is awesome in Bentonville and surrounding areas. Highly recommend this location. It's quiet neighborhood, close to stores and trails. Plus a bike shop about 2-3 miles away at the bottom of the hill.

It was a very nice stay, very welcoming and comfortable, in a nice quiet neighborhood. The home was well furnished with a wide variety of informational pamphlets about area attractions. The only hiccups were minor, in getting logged in to their wifi, and no information about how to operate the Roku television. Fortunately, I wasn't there to watch TV.

The home was very clean and comfortable. Sheila, thought of everything. Was near main highways 71 & 49 to be easily get to all we wanted to see in Bentonville. We also enjoyed the beach at Lake Avalon not far from the home. Thanks Sheila for your hospitality!

When we walked through the door, we were surprised how beautiful everything looked. It was neat, pretty, organized, and clean. . Everything about this VRBO was perfect. The bedrooms were fantastic. Beds were very comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here! We plan on returning to Bella Vista for hiking and staying here. Loved it.

Going back to where you lived before is often hard to do. This beautifully decorated home made it very easy. Everything we needed was there at our finger tips. The ability to do our laundry while staying was an extra bonus. The only negative was there were 3 bedrooms and only 1 bathroom. Just a note, be sure that you and your fellow guests are in good shape, because the steps down to where the accommodations are could pose a problem for an older person.

Really nice large lower level unit. The unit was clean and well supplied. Communication with the host was excellent. The location was also great. The only added thing we would say, is that it might be difficult for someone with mobility issues since you must walk on paver stones down to the lower level outside and it is not wheelchair accessible. We managed just fine but could see it could be a problem for some.

I took my kids on a mountain bike adventure and this was the perfect ‘home base’ for trips to the local trails and restaurants and activities downtown (like the spectacular Crystal Bridges museum). This place had everything you’d expect from an experienced host.

The place was so beautifully furnished and well equipped. We were gone all day for the time we were there, so didnt meet Sheila in person until the morning we were packing up to leave. Lovely lady. Check in was easy. Yes, I can see where some might have issues with the path down to the unit, but we did not. We're 70ish and looked at it as just a little added and needed exercise 🙂. Everything was great for us and we would definately stay again and recommend to others! Thank you Sheila. Enjoy the garlic 😉

I was planning on a reunion with Army buddies from 34yrs ago. I was SO lucky to find Shelia on Vrbo. From the time I first booked her BNB back in February, to our stay, she was nothing but accommodating! The place is immaculate with ALL the amenities. Beautiful scenery, with access to the decks, fire pit, grill, and more! You get more than you pay for! She was even accommodating with our Harley motorcycles! Shelia goes above, and beyond for her guest! I would recommend her and her BNB to anybody! You would be hard pressed to find better dwellings, or a better owner aimed at pleasing her guest! Her place is A MUST STAY! THANK YOU SHELIA, FOR ALL THAT YOU DID, TO MAKE OUR REUNION GREAT! Jim Jepsen Jr.

Not for folks with mobility or balance issues. Steep rock steps down to basement entrance. Noisy upstairs neighbors difficult to sleep at night. NO thermostat in the basement, you must depend on your upstairs neighbors to change the settings for comfort. Your either cold or hot, most of the time. Air conditioning fan runs 24/7 circulating the hot or cold air continuously and creates a nuisance noise while trying to sleep. Bathroom exhaust fan sounds like a plane idling on the runway. Lots of extra rules to follow once you get inside the basement. They charge a cleaning fee but ask you to complete your portion of the cleaning prior to your departure. Sheila is a good host but the basement could use some upgrades, the beds are uncomfortable and the privacy blinds are old and don’t work properly. A separate thermostat and air conditioning for just the basement area would be preferable for most guests. No private areas to sit outside the basement, your always in view of the neighbors. When I booked this reservation, the listing did not include a note to let you know this was a basement apartment and the owners would be there the entire length of your stay. We left a day early and did not complete our reservation dates. Just my opinion, I’m sure others have enjoyed their stay with Sheila…
