Lovely accommodation behind the owner's house with its own private entrance, a secure private garden and a very nice bathroom with bath. The afternoon tea and chocolates provided were a nice touch. Bev met us at check in, was very friendly and welcoming, and explained everything we needed to know. This is a genuinely dog friendly accommodation and our little pooch was well catered for with a securely fenced yard and bowls provided. We particularly liked the freestanding bath, the toiletries, the lovely views and the location near the Mill complex. Would definitely stay here again. So hard to find comfortable pet friendly accommodation and this ticks all the boxes.
We struggled a bit with the TV remote control but that is a very minor thing.

Location was great, easy to walk to restaurants and cafes. Place was warm, comfortable and spotless. Heated floor in the bathroom was an added bonus. Views from the accomodation were a highlight. We have been to seven places in Castlemaine to stay, this was the best by far.

I personally found the chairs uncomfortable, and add a bad back they were not great
