The view from the balcony! Wonderful to be able to sit out and see the sea and the magnificent mountains. The location is also excellent - just a short walk to the nearest beach, downtown Calvi and the big Super U supermarket, but far enough back from the main roads to be quiet. The air conditioning was vital as this summer was the hottest ever recorded in Corsica, and it worked very well in the main room (kitchen and living space incl. one double bed). The kitchen area was well equipped (full working oven, microwave, decent size fridge with ice-making freezer section, adequate cookware, crockery and glasses) and there is plenty of room to eat either at the table in the living area or outside at the table and chairs on the balcony. The beds were comfy. The parking was excellent - a designated off-road space in front of the apartment, with room at the side of the building for me to leave my sea kayak in the shade.
The door to the apartment opens directly into the only self-contained bedroom, which you have to walk through to get to the main living and kitchen area containing a double sofa bed, and the bathroom. This self-contained bedroom is at the furthest point from the air con unit and so doesn't cool very well (and not at all if the bedroom door is closed). We were a family so this wasn't a problem, but the layout doesn't offer much privacy e.g. for two couples. The shower is cramped and it is easy to knock the water control so that you suddenly get extremely hot water. The WiFi code provided in the guest book was incorrect, but after scanning the QR code on the modem itself, we were able to connect and after that the WiFI was excellent. No instructions on how to use the induction hob or microwave.

Il y a une place de parking privée devant l'immeuble et la présence de la boîte à clés font que l'arrivée est facile. L'emplacement du logement est très bien situé : on peut se rendre à pied à la plage , à la citadelle, au Super U.
La présence de la clim est tout à fait appréciable !
- baie vitrée qui fonctionne mal: c'est très difficile pour ouvrir et fermer
- la machine à laver n'essore presque pas

Appartamento vicino al centro di Calvi raggiungibile a piedi in 15 minuti. Parcheggio privato. Cucina ben fornita, aria condizionata funzionante, bel balcone con vista sulle montagne e sul mare dotato di grande stendino e tavolino per mangiare.
Camera molto piccola, non presente nelle foto pubblicate: ha un letto molto piccolo per due persone, non ha comodini e poco spazio per passare di fianco al letto.
Il bagno non ha una finestra e non ha nessun tappetino per la doccia (si allaga ogni volta, trascinando acqua per tutto l'appartamento).
L'alloggio offre lenzuola e asciugamani a pagamento extra, oltre al prezzo (già non economico) dell'alloggio.
