As a family tradition, we spend each Thanksgiving up in beautiful Idyllwild. Over the years we’ve stayed in many different cabins/homes, and this was by far our favorite! Beautiful layout, spacious, and the property itself has so much to offer- lots of outdoor space and seating, open areas for kids to play, and my favorite, the creek area. We will definitely be cooking this location again!

My friends, family and dog all had a wonderful stay as we all enjoyed our the spacious house. The large fully equipped kitchen made it easy for a few people to cook meals. All of the spacious bedrooms made it comfortable to spread out while providing privacy. Everyone had a relaxing time with views from almost every room. The many terraces and decks made spending time outside private and easy. The large gated yard kept our dog and cars safe. The house is centrally located, we enjoyed walking to town and going hiking. Everyone talked about coming back again.

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations! As others have said, the pictures and description don’t tell the true story of how unique this home is- it’s a gem! It was clean and spacious with gorgeous views from every window! Our dogs enjoyed roaming the huge, enclosed yard and watching the birds and squirrels in the tree canopies each evening! We enjoyed walking down to the very full creek and spending time on the gorgeous decks taking in the views! The best part was going to sleep to the sound of that amazing creek and waking up to it again! We would love to come back to this special property again! Thank you!

Although when I booked the property I did not anticipate snow, we were delighted to have the change in weather which was perfect despite all the previous weeks of “atmospheric river” that hit SoCal.
The property was amazing and was as described. My family of 6 adults and one teenager, and one Pomeranian thoroughly enjoyed the last remnants of snow and managed to get in a couple of hikes and visits to town. I did want to clarify the configuration of the five bedrooms. You enter on the main level with the living areas and kitchen,. The beautiful master bedroom/bath is downstairs along with another bedroom that has one queen and one twin. The upstairs or third level has one queen bedroom and another queen bedroom with a twin, plus a shared bathroom. Between the main level and third level there is a cute bedroom “nook” with a twin bed tucked under a staircase plus a futon. My adult daughter loved that room, she said it was cozy. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. The coffee maker is a drip maker with filters. We probably would have enjoyed the outside patios and yard if not for the snow but it was still beautiful, my whole family loved and it and would consider returning.

The house and property were everything we were looking for. The house was spacious and clean, and everything was easy. The main floor had a full bathroom, kitchen, dining room, fireplace, and living room, with LOTS of windows and ample light. The upper floor had two bedrooms and a bathroom, and the lower floor had another two bedrooms and bathroom (attached to the master bedroom). Everything was updated, functional, clean, and comfortable. The location was also amazing -- close to town (about 1 mile), close to hiking trails, quiet and serene. We LOVED everything about our stay and are looking forward to coming back!

The second bedroom occupants would have to go up a level to use the full bathroom on the main floor. This was not a problem for our group.
