We stayed here a second night during our return to Lushoto. We love this apartment! The owner is incredibly responsive and helpful. His wife is very kind and welcoming. We loved that this apartment included everything you’d need to make breakfast each morning! The shower is great, the bed comfortable, the view beautiful, the laundry easy and good…an amazing stay! The hosts even let us keep two bags with them in between our stays and check-in early upon our return - so accommodating!
The apartment is about a 10 min walk from town, which we really enjoyed. It allows you to see other portions of the town while being super accessible at the same time. The area is very safe at night.

This apartment is amazing and has everything you could ever need. It is comfortable, beautiful, and a short (10 min) walk to town, passing other restaurants and shops along the way. Everything is clean! It is picturesque and private and lovely.
We loved everything :) Just be sure to turn the hit water heater on ~30 min before you want to shower - the hot water works great :)

Wat een heerlijk verblijf hebben we gehad! Een huisje voor jezelf midden in Lushoto. Alles was goed geregeld: het ophalen van het busstation, snelle communicatie en de faciliteiten in het huisje. Er stond ontbijt en lekker vers fruit voor ons klaar voor de 4 nachten dat we er verbleven. Aan alles was gedacht. Er lagen zelfs tandenborstels en tandpasta klaar. Overdag kon ik wat werken - het internet is goed (niet fantastisch, maar dat is het nergens in Tanzania). Er zijn leuke wandelingen te maken in de omgeving. Heel fijn ook om zelf eventueel te kunnen koken en te wassen.
De waterdruk van de douche is slecht. Het is niet heel erg, maar verwacht geen topdouche.
Om bij het huisje te komen moet je ook goed mobiel zijn. Het is een flinke stijle weg omhoog over een onverhard pad.

The house is very clean and comfortable place to stay, I felt very relaxing and I will definitely book Violate Homestay for my second time when I visit Lushoto and I recommend anyone who wants to enjoy a holiday in Lushoto to stay at Violate Homestay.
