About this house rental
Located in Enchanted Oaks, this lovely house for $228 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Blue Moon Cove is a beautifully remodeled Lake House in one of the most beautiful and safest neighborhoods on the lake. You'll love the scenic drive into our community! The main house has a big living room with a sectional couch to watch the big game. 5 Bedrooms with 1 King bed and an ensuite bathroom, 2 More bedrooms include Queens with access to a full bathroom, 1 Queen bedroom with ensuite half bath and also a bunk room with twin over full bunks and a futon for the kiddos. The kitchen is fully equipped for family meals. The lake is directly in your back yard with a boathouse if you are inclined to bring your own boat or PWCs. We have cleats for you to tie up during your stay. Fishing in our cove is excellent if you wish to try it from our boathouse. Enjoy the firepit for smores and story telling and feel free to grill up the fish you catch on the gas grill (we supply the propane but you are responsible for cleaning the grill after use). We also have two kayaks available for your enjoyment. In the morning you'll love enjoying coffee on the screened in porch while watching our cove residents -two white herons - hunt for fish. Washer and dryer is available.

The house is roomy and the screened in porch was a great place to sit to chat or view the outdoors. The outside deck was nice.

We had three families together for a short getaway at the lake. This home had plenty of bedrooms to accommodate all of us. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The location was great too. The community boat ramp was close to we could launch a boat within a short walk from the home. Would highly recommend this home

House was great and as advertised. Nice quiet neighborhood. Water was low but that was only downside to the whole trip. Will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone. Host was easy to contact and very prompt in replying.

This house was great for our group stay. There was plenty of space for the adults and teens to spread out. Loved the screened in porch! We were able to sit in the backyard and enjoy the fireworks as well.

The only negative about our stay had NOTHING to do with the rental. It had to so with the drought and there not being water. But, we absolutely LOVED THE PROPERTY!

We had such a great stay at Blue Moon Cove! We take an annual lake trip every year with extended family and this place worked perfectly for all our needs.
The only thing to note is that the part of the lake that this house backs up to is very narrow and shallow. Due to the drought Texas has experienced it was completely dried up. We had to leave the property to do any sort of fishing or lake activities which wasn’t ideal.
We’d gladly stay here again, but would just make sure the lake levels are back up before doing so!

We ended up using all the rooms and 7 people found it very comfortable - I imagine double that number would still be fine if not all adults. We spent little time in the house other than sleeping and breakfast but we didn't notice anything missing. We did comment on the lack of hanging space in the master bedroom as the owners keep the closet locked for their own stuff. Remember to take your own soap and shampoo but there are plenty of towels. One last thing - when parking beware the old oak tree with a lot of dead branches and park away from that - we were lucky not to end up with a big bill for damage to our rental car from branches that fell just inches away. There's a lot of room in the drive though.

Short but sweet
Our party of 8 was only there for the weekend but enjoyed the house immensely! Beds were comfy, linens were very nice and kitchen was well appointed. Quiet neighborhood. Nice views of the lake when walking the neighborhood. Would definitely come back!

Lake House Retreat
The house was plenty big enough for the 6 of us and our two cars, mornings on the screened in porch were tranquil, and evenings on the deck were nice and relaxing. We did a lot of our cooking while there, and the kitchen was well equipped!
Altogether couldn't have asked for a better stay!

We rented this beautiful home for my daughter’s sweet 16. Four adults and 8 teens. The house was a perfect fit.
The host was very responsive and easy to to book with. Check-in was very easy and she added extra touches to our trip.
The house has just been remodeled and it’s adorable. The layout of the house works great for big groups. Plenty of beds that are very comfortable and nice smelling fresh sheets. Kitchen has everything you need to make a great meal. The house during my stay had the basics like salt and pepper. It also had paper towels, plenty trash bags , dishwasher detergent, etc.
Bathrooms had great pressure and hot water. Bring your own shampoo and soap. NONE of the teens did. Plenty of towels were available.
A/C worked great as it was very hot and humid during our stay. It’s been raining a lot so mosquitoes were a small issue at dusk. But the screened in porch was perfect. We loved having coffee in the morning there.
The kayaks were a hit for the teens. Only negative thing about the property is that it’s on an inlet. It’s nice and quiet, but my teens wanted a big dock they could layout on and jump from like some other properties have. It’s great for families with small kids.
Grocery stores and other stores are near by.

From the moment of our arrival we just knew that this vacation would exceed our expectations. The property was clean, well kept and larger than expected.
Lots of touches that made us feel welcome. Throws for the sofa, a beautiful covered patio overlooking the tranquil water and more towels than the ladies could use. The beds and bedding were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all the needed utensils and small appliances. My only suggestion is to have a hairdryer We were thankful one of the ladies brought her own.
We are already talking about our next trip. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
We absolutely LOVED staying here! It was clean and everything you need is provided. We were able to sleep comfortably, cook everything with all the equipment and tools we needed, and most importantly, RELAX! The private dock was were I caught the largest catfish of my life! The fire pit and comfortable chairs is where spent every night. We were able to feel comfortable and safe in this beautiful neighborhood. Heather was very good at communicating and answered all our questions. She was a fantastic host. Thank you for helping us create a wonderful family memory! We would love to return and stay here again!
