About this house rental

Nestled in Rockwell, this charming house for $181 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. We've been renting with VRBO for over 15 years and take pride in our homes. We want our guests to experience a clean and beautiful place to rest. Aside from our excellent location, it's the little things that set us apart. For example, We offer pillows of different types and extra pillows and towels in each room. Polly's Place is only yards away (across the street) from the lake. Beautiful views can be had by walking and driving throughout the neighborhood. There are partial views from the house, but public access is best had at the various public parks, the closest being Hill Wheatley Park, about five minutes away. The neighborhood is very quiet and well maintained with million dollar homes within a minute's walk. All three bedrooms are large and have sitting areas with chairs, closets, and plenty of space for your luggage. The living room has high ceilings and a beautiful gas fireplace. The master bedroom is huge and the master bath has a Jacuzzi tub. The rooms are styled and furnished with a mid-century aesthetic. While we welcome everyone at Polly's Place, this is not the place for wild parties or unruly behavior. We are strict about our rules, guidelines, and occupancy rates as we have found this makes for a better experience for all involved. We do think Polly's Place is the perfect getaway for wedding stays, ladies getaways, anniversaries, and most definitely families. We do not, however host bachelor/bachelorette parties, graduation parties, etc... There are three bedrooms for 6 people, but the living room is large enough to accommodate two additional guests (but please bring their own sleeping gear as we do not yet have a futon or sofa sleeper for the living room quite yet). Please note that the two secondary bedrooms have full sized beds which are slightly smaller than a queen. The three beds offer a variety of sleeper preference: one is soft, one is firm, and one has a memory-foam topper. I am a third generation Hot Springer, both my grandfather and father were born here. I love this town and hope to pass on that love to each and every person that visits. If you have questions or concerns during your stay, please feel free to contact me, Jeff, at anytime. We did have a plumbing issue with one of the toilets during our first month, but we have had that repaired. The only time there has been a hot water issue is when the water heater was left on vacation setting. We encourage our guests to call us at anytime and we can remedy this type of issue quickly.

Polly's Place is a neat, clean, and well-kept house and in a very quiet neighborhood. The owner answered my questions promptly. We all enjoyed our stay and hope it will be available on our next visit to Hot Springs.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely three bedroom home. It was very clean and well maintained. Everything you would need to cook was in the kitchen. A very quiet neighborhood next to the lake. A beautiful place for a leisurely walk. The beds were very comfortable, and enjoyed the huge soaking tub in the master bathroom. The home is close to everything you would want to do. Definitely will book again! Lovely home.

A nice, big house with lots of vintage decor in its interior. Very cozy and comfortable. Some conveniences like the A/C thermostat or the dryer, are also vintage, but everything is in great condition and works perfectly. The neighborhood is quite and safe, and everything you may need is within a short drive. Would definitely book again. Thank you Jeff!

Checking in process was easy. Beautiful home, quiet neighborhood area. The five of us was very comfortable in the 3 bedroom home. It had everything we needed as far as kitchen, bathroom, & bedroom blankets & sheets. One toilet did not work but was aware of it as the owner had told us before checking in. We did not have any problems with not having internet as we were out doing family stuff most of the time. It was wonderful having a washer/ dryer to do clothes! The owner was easy to contact as well. The beds were comfortable, nice size bedrooms. If traveling with small child just watch out the home has a lot of nice breakable items. Plenty of chairs to sit in. One TV but we could not get it to work ( im sure users error LOL) but it was ok! Had about a 15 20 minute drive to downtown to look around, shop, do the bathhouse, eat & take home some water( don’t t forget your jug!) Overall we had a wonderful stay & would do it again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with my family!!

The house is very well maintained with lot of furnitures and even kitchen utensils. Although only one bathroom was working. Other one always had clogged condition and the shower doesn’t work either. Hot water is the problem when I have many people to use at the same time as it takes lot of time to heat up the tank.

Jeff was great at communicating and let us know that, because he was replacing the stove and dishwasher, he could offer a substantial discount. When we ran into some issues with the website, Jeff called VRBO to make sure we could complete payment. The only two concerns we had were that the beds weren't very comfortable and we had some issues with clogged toilets, but Jeff was apologetic and planned to call in a plumber to address the issue after.
