A fantastic place to stay!

We loved staying here. The property is lovely. It's super clean and a delightful place to stay. The owner is very helpful and friendly, and always keen to ensure everything is good. Great views of the himalayas are possible from the property (on a clear day!) Note: to find the property, enter 'Hotel Yuma' and walk up to the top floor (or simply tell the Hotel Yuma reception that you are staying at 'Yuma D homestay' and they will show you the way.

Superb

The location and the property is excellent.. spacious rooms and bathroom... The wooden decor..furtinures...rooftop tea area...garden.. altogether you can get a feel of a heritage bungalow! And of course..the best hosts..Mr Subba nd Mrs Subba .

Stairs !! It's a bit difficult for the aged people to climb all those stairs without taking rest in between..

Interior, Cleanliness, view, space for keeping cloth etc, flowers at the property.

there should be telephone for calling staff, there should be basic amenities at the toilet like handwash, small toothpaste, small shampoo etc. (small shoap was there), at 9pm when I called the owner via mobile he didn't picked up nor call backed, tv was not functioning, room heater was not there.

Yuma d homestay

A wonderful place with open terrace and a great view on a a clear day of the mountains,mall was just 10 minutes walk from the Homestay.Dhiraj ji and Sushma ji are amazing host, wonderful person, liked their hospitality very much.Thank you for hosting us, will definitely visit again in the near future.

The location is absolutely superb, very close to everything that you wish to wish at Darjeeling yet away from the hustle and bustle. The host was very courteous and helpful and guided us through our stay. The room is comfortable and if your room faces the valley, it is a sight to behold.

Superb

The awesome decor which felt so luxurious, yet cozy and the warm politeness of the hosts. It's located at a few minutes walk from Mall road and the view from the sitting room and balcony felt like a dream especially after nightfall. Highly recommended!!

I recommend everyone to visit this place atleast once. Oh! it is pet-friendly, too :)

Though the mall area is a 10min walk from the homestay location, it didnt bother us because of the warm and exceptional stay at the property. The ambience, the beautiful terrace garden and the amazing flowers were better than the pictures. The staff are warm and welcoming.

The Best Homestay! If you get this just close your eyes and go for it.

Very clean, and located at the centre. Easy access to the main market place and the famous glenary’s. Very good hospitality, the host Dhiraj was very friendly and helpful. It literally felt like a home away from home.

It’s on the 3rd floor, and no lift that’s the only downside.But it’s worth climbing those stairs for the most amazing view. I would say the best place to stay in Darjeeling.
