Location is fab. Pool was lovely and always empty. People clearly staying there but not noisy considering it’s in such a busy area. Room was a decent size and had a fridge. Perfect for solo travelers. Right near the night life aswell!

I have stayed at Desaku Bungalows before. My budget is usually AUD60 per night or less and this fits right in that window for accommodation in Canggu. They've added more bungalows/rooms since I was here last, but it didn't take away the serenity of the place. As at June 2026 the extra rooms' construction have been halted, and I can understand why - seeing reviews for the months when it started. I always love the pool here, because it is right under the sun to get your tan in. I normally just work from my room and the facilities are adequate.

The location was great. Staff was helpful when needed.
The room was very dark. I was located on the top floor. Could not open the windows as there were too many mosquitoes and the cats kept coming inside the room.
