About this house rental
Situated in Bolivar Peninsula, this lovely house for $683 per night is a great choice for your next break. The stunning views from this amazing two-story home with a mezzanine deck, is truly a Blessing. No partys or events are allowed on property, max occupancy at all times is 17, no parking on empty lot. Only 9 miles from the ferry, in a quiet area of the Crenshaw Beach Subdivision, with easy access to the beach, near barrel 36. This beautiful home features a full sized in-ground swimming pool (not heated) with “chill” function for the hot Southeast Texas summer months, and built in hot tub. With 2700 sq. ft. of living space, there is plenty room for everyone to relax and enjoy their stay at the beach. The mezzanine deck has a full outdoor kitchen, including a hibachi grill, ice maker and bar, to enjoy the amazing views of the beach as well as the pool area. The two bedrooms downstairs on mezzanine level have exterior doors for direct access to rooms after long day at the beach or returning from the spa. On the main floor there is a large living room with an open concept kitchen, including a wine bar, ice maker, full sized laundry, and dining table with seating for 12. The large master suite is also on this floor, and features king sized bed, 65" television, and large shower/tub combo with whirlpool bath. Bunkroom and full bath are located on the main floor. Downstairs you will find 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. You will find a large TV in every room, with satellite TV service and Netflix capability. Additional Information: Bed and Bath Setup, 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, sleeps 17 Main floor – master king with bath, bunkroom with full/full, twin/twin and twin futon, hall bath Mezzanine – 1 queen with twin/twin bunk and bath, 1 queen with twin/twin bunk, hall bath outside sand shower and charcoal grill hot tub is available nightly from 6pm-11pm, during stay drip coffee maker pool is not heated cargo lift is not available for use outdoor video security system in use No events or parties allowed (includes prom and graduation parties), max occupancy at all time is 17 No parking allowed on empty lot next door Pets allowed, DOGS ONLY, max 2, less than 30 lbs, pet fee is $25 per night, will be added after booking. The property was located in a great place and within walking distance of the beach. There were twelve of us and the house was plenty big. The kitchen is fully stocked and we cooked and grilled for the three days that we were there. The pool is fabulous and we enjoyed it very much!

Stayed here with family (grandpa down to infant grandchild and two dogs). All of us agreed the pictures didn't do it justice. The pool and outdoor kitchen were amazing. Easy check in; quick response about dogs joining when I inquired. Quick walk to beach.
Only cons (and these are nit-picky - was a great stay and we'd book again): as others say, it gets cold on second floor and hot on top floor. Separate thermostats would be ideal. Some shade around pool would be great. (umbrellas or a pergola or the like).
And, as others said, lots of climbing stairs - good workout though.

Loved this home, even though it was 5th from the beach, we had great views. The pool was wonderful! Bedrooms were spaced out well for privacy, a roomy home. Suggestions: : umbrellas on or near the pool, it needs more shading. Also, a Keurig coffee pot would be a better choice. We didn’t mind climbing the stairs, it was good exercise. The 2 kitchens on different levels is a really smart idea. Convenient. Two separate families can be on each level. Cute Beach decor inside, very tasteful. Was nice having extra kids toys. Thank you, we had a good trip & will be back!

Fabulous home with lovely pool!
Our family enjoyed this property so much! The 2nd floor outdoor kitchen and deck/social area is just amazing. The house had plenty of room and the open kitchen/dining/living area worked well for us to all be together. The bunk beds in the two queen rooms are on the small side, but perfect for kids. There are a lot of steps since the kitchen is on the top floor, but we still loved it. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. We would go back here in a heartbeat!

The BBQ pit that is there works, but you have to prop up one side with something because the wheel is rusted off.

This house was amazing! Such a close walk to the beach and the pool was perfect. The outdoor kitchen was also so fun for our group. The property manager was also extremely helpful. One of the best vacation rentals I've stayed in.

Most of all I loved the small things: we had a 10 month old and this house was stocked with a pack n play, toys, baby chair, stair way fence. It was a great + to have these baby amenities. The baby truly enjoyed himself as well as the adults and teenagers.
And did I mention you can walk to the beach OMG.....the kids walked to the beach and we could literally still see them from the kitchen window. This was awesome!
We will definitely be back. This is one of the best vacation spots we have experienced in a long time. Everyone said it’s going to be hard to top this vacation. WE TRULY HAD A BLAST!

False advertising....You knew we were a family group over the age of 18. And you also knew sleeping beds in this house is for children...... Having child and youth size twin beds in it...... you should have brought this to my attention before I ever made a payment. Grown adults were very uncomfortable!
Would not allow (per realtor)other family members (staying elsewhere) to come to house as a meeting place to eat or socialize....
Alot of rust on overhead door handles making one of them not even usable. Area was dirty...
Spare blankets in bedroom were noticeably dirty making them un useable....
Did not receive gift products as advertised....
Was without power 13 hrs longer than was told about and prepared for.
I feel the owner should make made an adjustment regarding ALL of the above mentioned issues. Not what I agreed upon!
