About this house rental
The consummate luxury mountain home experience! An original personal residence for an award-winning architect and builder, this home is an absolute work of art. Expansive glass, rustic barn-wood touches, and hand-scraped beams everywhere! Feel away from it all with mountain views and whispering pines, yet walk a few steps up from the driveway to a free town / ski shuttle that takes you right to all the action. Hike out your front door to the splendorous Baldy Hiking Trail. Re-unite with family or friends around the giant round table, on the deck, on the back flagstone patio, or in one of two open but cozy gathering areas, each with their owner custom stone fireplace. Cook up a storm in the central, open, and well-stocked gourmet kitchen with over-sized Viking Range. Seating abounds at either the dinning table, at the bar, or at the custom built-in kitchen booth.
The upper master suite is it's own escape. Ramp the private staircase to double doors that open to a massive suite, luxury king bed, sitting chairs, and maybe the best views in the house. The award winning master bath will literally cause your jaw to drop. Double custom vanities, stone everywhere, double-door steam shower with rain head, and a custom iron and clear acrylic soaking tub. Headphones, a glass of wine and a good book, and you could spend the whole vacation in this luxury suite.
A few steps down to its own wing over the garage, is a massive bunk room / rec area. Sleeping up to six with a private TV, private bath, and ample room for play and games, The kids will WANT to play with their pals in this wonderful tucked away space that helps to provide some gathering peace for the adults ;-)
The lower level hosts another crash pad for movies or a drink from the wet bar / mini fridge. Friends can play chess in custom stone nook right by an elegant fireplace. Another full suite with private bath, and two other queen bedrooms sprawl out through this level. Walk out back to views of the peaks, patio seating, and a steaming hot tub to follow a sore day at the slopes.

House was great! Plenty of space for our family - 11 people total. Had a small issue with a toilet that was fixed quickly. Close to shuttle service that took us right to gondola.

we enjoyed our stay at the property. only issue we had was the high bed for smaller size members of our family and felt like difficult parking at night. Lighted driveway would help. we would love to visit again the lovely property
