We got to see lots of deer right outside the screened porch! The cabin was nice - TVs in two of the bedrooms, not in third. We didn't use third bedroom but would have been quite cramped had we had ppl in there. A bund bed (double size top and bottom) and a full size futon that probably woulnd't have pulled out but in a pinch could have been used. Again - we didn't use that room at all, so not relevant for us. Nice fireplace - only a few logs provided so buy some if you plan to use it - we did not - not cold enough. Definitely bring extra TP and paper towels - says so in the instructions, but in case you just click and sign :) Overall a good stay. Great location for access to dining, casino, beach access, and plenty of wineries and breweries nearby. Enjoyed our stay.

We very much enjoyed out stay at your beautiful house!! Very comfortable, cozy and relaxing. The perfect place for friends to reunite!
The only issues we had were with the thermostat and the tv remote. Both of which were minor and may have been operator error. Oh, and there were discrepancies between the check out instructions on the fridge and the email sent the day prior to leaving.
Thank you and we hope to get to come stay at your home again.

Great location, short walk to the beach, short drive to wineries and breweries. Highly recommend the beer church during your visit! We were there for a long weekend girls trip, the house was great, had everything we needed, it was clean and well stocked. Enjoyed the backyard oasis along with the screened in porch. We had outside bonfire every morning and night we were there. Best "camping" trip ever! Thank you so much for letting us use your beautiful cabin.

Great location and layout. Maintenance could use updating. Had a broken tv on check in that never was repaired and carpets needed cleaned in primary bedroom. Outside should be power washed and windows cleaned. Loved the home itself as lots of family space and screened deck was nice. Very quiet and peaceful. Left multiple messages to property management regarding tv with response late in week and all they did was say yep it’s broken. Then they wanted to charge us for reporting it on check-in. Get a new management company because home itself is nice but management company is not responsive and doesn’t keep up property.

Our family had such a great time together. The living room and kitchen area were a perfect spot for us to gather, eat, play games, and sit by the fireplace. I could have not asked for a better Thanksgiving holiday. I am so happy with the cabin, the communication with the management company, and all the wonderful amenities.

My sibs and I (and spouses) get together once a year to reconnect and have some laughs. Really enjoyed this woodsy spot, though there were so many light switches and many of the lights were sterile-white instead of warm and cozy. But really appreciated the cleanliness, and all the windows and amenities. Thanks!

This house provided us with a wonderful weekend. The location was ideal for taking long walks & was conveniently located to a winery & the Botanical Garden.
The house was clean & adequately equipped. That being said, it was a bit hodge-podge & not necessarily high end, but everything worked & we had a great time. We took advantage of the ping pong table & darts too!

this experience can be best described as CONSIDERATE. This property is managed by people whom obviously are professionals. There are many nuances of consideration. labels on light switches and remotes, shampoo and soap out, darts for the board, nice paddles and ping pong balls, clean dishes and well stocked kitchen, QR code for the "maual" which has things nearby etc..., there was a sign for the wifi. Just plenty of consideration for the renter whomever you may be.

The Lincoln Log Lodge was the perfect spot for our little family gathering. The setting is pretty and near to lots of attractions. The house itself was very spacious with lots of room to spread out and relax. Beds were very comfy. Bathrooms were clean and in good condition. Our favorite room was the beautiful screened in sun porch. We loved sitting out there and listening to the sounds of the woods in the evening or drinking coffee there in the morning. Lots of comfy seating. We also loved the fire pit area. We really enjoyed the house and would definitely stay there again.

Great location for visiting Indiana Dune National Park
This was really a wonderful place to stay. Lots of room. Clean. Kitchen fully equipped. Our only complaint was the water which smelled like chemicals. We Googled the water quality which confirmed levels of a number of chemicals were high. We bought several gallons of water at the local store; once we did that it was not a problem, but you might want alert renters that they will want to bring their own drinking water.

We had a great Christmas at Lincoln Log Lodge - the openness was perfect for our family - we shared food, games, laughter & made memories to last forever. The lodge & property are better than photos! The living/kitchen/dining was spacious. Lots of outlets for crafting. The light during the day was amazing ..grabbed a few table lamps for late night crafting. I would recommend bringing filtered water as the house has well water. The check out instructions via email compared to the ones on the refrigerator are slightly different but pretty close anyway. After checkout we went to Sophie’s for brunch…highly recommended!

What we liked the most - 1. quiet neighborhood and not to far from fishing spots (Trail Creek and Marina), grocery store, restaurants, outlet mall, etc; 2. plenty of space for us as well as when we come back with more people; the floorplan layout is split, so the master is on one side and the other 2 bedrooms and 2nd bathroom are on the other side; 3. The screened-in porch had tons of seating; 4. The firepit and seating outside was perfect for roasting s'mores; 5. The large kitchen to cook breakfast; 6. The outside grill; 7. The ample parking; 8. The ample closet and drawer space in the bedrooms; 9. Although super loud, having use of the washer/dryer was beneficial

What we didn't care for (these are picky because the good definitely outweighed the "bad", but we wanted to share anyways) - 1. Coffee maker would shut off before it was done brewing a full pot; we had to turn it back on about 4 times in order to get a full pot brewed; 2. the kitchen hanging lights really need to be dusted; 3. The bed in the master was either a full size or double bed. We would've preferred a queen or king
We needed to contact the emergency property maintenance phone line once and it was a positive experience. The concern was addressed immediately. There was no water the 2nd day we were there. It was pouring rain outside and the on call guy was there within minutes. He inspected the well pump outside and the filter was severely clogged. He removed it and waited to make sure we had running water again.
We plan on returning to the property and hope you found this review constructive! Thank you for a positive experience for our first time in Michigan City!
