Situated in Desert Hot Springs, this lovely house for $166 per night is a great option for your next vacation. City of Desert Hot Springs Vacaton Rental Permit VR21-0019 Welcome to our home, conveniently located in the hills of Desert Hot Spring, overlooking the city, great views of the desert mountains, windmills, in a very-quiet neighborhood, and the amazing view from the patio, with plenty of seating and a BBQ grill, fire pit, and, the amazing colorful sunset or the amazing city lights. Relax in our comfortable home smell fresh and sanitized, brand- new furniture and 50-inch television. The kitchen is equipped with cooking wares, including crock a pot, air fryer, pots and pan, coffee maker, fresh coffee beans and a coffee grinder. The grocery stores and restaurants are only a few minutes down the hill including Vons, Stater Brothers, and Grocery Outlet. 10 minutes to I-10 freeway, 15 minutes to downtown Palm Springs. Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indio and Coachella are all close. Visit the Farmers Market in Joshua Tree on the weekend or the well- known Joshua Tree National Monument Park. There are a lot of activities in the desert, including great desert golf, tennis, hiking, shopping, the annual world-renowned Coachella Music Art festival and Stagecoach Country Music Festival. Known as (Coachella Festival) 25 to 35 minutes shopping to El Paseo in Palm Desert, Downtown Palm Spring, and Desert Hills Premium Outlet. Check out the unforgettable Swiss built Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, it is the desert Favorite Winter or Summer.

Such a peaceful and comfortable spot. The house is roomy -- one master and two other good size bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious. The house has a full dining room table as well as a kitchen table. All rooms equipped with TV's. Beautiful backyard with plenty of seats to lounge.
The hosts Dory and Ron are very hospitable and made the stay quite easy.

The house is fully equipped and perfectly located 1 minute away from the spa. The host were very kind and accommodating. You cannot beat tge view from the backyard. It is the perfect place for a spa getaway. I enjoyed the property!

We stayed two nights at Dory's Hideaway. The property was immaculate. It had everything we needed, lots of clean towels, a fully equipped kitchen and more! We enjoyed the yummy lemon's from the tree on the property. We used this property as a jumping off point to Palm Springs where we enjoyed the Modernism Week festivities. It was an easy drive to downtown Palm Springs and a nice place to come home to away from the crowds in town for the events. Ron and Dory are very friendly and helpful. We would definetly stay here again!

This was a beautiful property which was beautifully decorated and very well stocked with all basic needs. Very clean and spacious. The host and hostess were very flexible, accessible and polite. Thanks for sharing this amazing house. Our family had a great time. We would go back again anytime we visit Palm Springs/Desert Hot Springs area.

We stayed at the property for 3 days from 12/27 to 12/29. Everything in the property is as shown in the pictures. Dory was very helpful and very responsive to any questions. The kitchen was well stocked with everything required to cook meals.. Our schedule was quite hectic and we did not get to enjoy the backyard much. Being able tp park the car inside the garage also was a big plus. If our future plans involve a visit to the Palm Springs area, we will definitely be coming back to this house for our stay."

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! It was spotless and had everything we could possibly need! Dory and Ron were terrific hosts - always responsive and friendly! The views are amazing, and the home is beautifully decorated. We loved being convenient to both Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. A perfect place to stay in the Palm Springs area!

I wasn’t sure what to expect since this was my first experience staying in a house than a hotel. We were so pleasantly surprised. The house was clean and cozy, had every amenity you could think of including spices and coffee in the kitchen. Shampoos and soaps in the showers. Plenty of towels and the most comfortable beds!
The hosts were easy to contact if you needed anything and were gracious. It made our family gathering even more special.

We had a good weekend. The house is beautiful and clean. Too bad the refrigerator wasn’t working but, we had a portable fridge that got us through. We would definitely stay here again and have told other family members visiting the area about this place.

Inviting home with lovely view
Of all the rental properties we (husband, wife, daughter, age 24) stayed at in the past, this one was the most welcoming. It felt like home. Much of it had to do with the atmosphere set by Dory. The outdoors decorative lights greeting us upon arrival already set a warm feeling. The lights are also in the back of the home where the space really shines with highlights such as the fire pit, cute gardens, covered porch and the view! The home layout has the kitchen, dining and living rooms centrally located and the master suite to the left and two bedrooms and hall bathroom to the right creating privacy and quiet. The amenities were over the top. So many little extras like coffee beans, paper products/ cleaners, garage usage, linens, toiletries, extra kindling for fire pit… this is what made the stay a home away from home. Highly recommend!

Incredible Hosts! Well appointed home!
The owners of this house are the definition of caring and exceptional. They were in communication and present to us throughout the stay and take cleanliness seriously. The house seems thoroughly cleaned between guests and is close to some of the best boutique spas and resorts in the area. A great spot to stay while soaking nearby. The house had an almost private retreat feel, quiet rooms and modern amentities and furnishings. Master bedroom felt luxurious and also well kept. In a secure and safe portion of DHS. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, comfortable home. Location is great, near town and easy drive to Joshua Tree or Palm Springs. Several hiking trails near town that were great for our dogs. For golfers, Mission Creek Country Club will allow a few non-members each day. Course is very well maintained and the probably the best value in the area. We were delightfully surprised that the home looked even better than the pictures.

Really enjoyed staying at this house!! It was the perfect spot for me, my friends, and dogs. Dory was a great communicator and very caring that our stay was pleasant. The house has great touches. The backyard view is awesome with the mountains and windmills in the distance. It was the perfect in-between spot for Joshua Tree (45 mins from west entrance) and Palm Springs. Would absolutely stay here again.
