Perfect little getaway. The house is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. It was just what we needed for our dog to join in with the family. Pool table was entertaining on the rainy night and it is close enough to all of the breweries!

Proximity and easy access to hiway 101, allowed us to explore both north and south of McKinleyville. The neighborhood was quiet and the next door neighbor was helpful. The beds were comfy and the pool table was a bonus! My dog loved the spacious backyard.

Back deck has multiple rotting deck boards with nails protruding, master shower and sink both have clogged drains. Has very active gophers in back yard

We had a great stay at the Harmony House. We were a group of 6 with 2 dogs (4 adults, 2 children 9-12yo).
We had plenty of space for our 3 different families to share the space.
The location was great with off street parking for 2 large vehicles.
They dining table is set for 4 but with a smaller table in the next room we were able to bring over 2 chairs for us all to sit together.
The frying pans have plenty of wear and tend to stick. I would suggest bringing your own pans for the ease of cooking. We were able to make it work for us but with some frustration.
We were sent clear instructions for accessing the house and wifi. Check out was easy. We would 100% stay at this location again.

With more towels provided for a family of four, drinking glasses, dishes, better linens (sheets and mattress covers) on beds and a bit moreseating in the living room, this would be a perfect family spot. Very dog friendly for a well trained pooch such as ours. Very clean. Honestly, the property needs very little to above and beyond but sadly the missing components are very necessary to an enjoyable stay. It was low temps and snow storm, so we needed to run the heater (also not enough logs provided to just run the fireburning stove). The heater control via thermostat is ancient and when it kicks on the heater it roars like a freight train. The biggest bedroom cooks at high heat and the rest of the house reamins very chilly. The perks were watching gorgeous snowfall on very nice backyard. Lovely comforters pn beds. Nice fridge, sink, and oven. Tried to run the dishwasher and no dishwashing soap, so we bought some. There was a bottle but empty. It justt needs final touches to be very enjoyable. About 3-4 people can sit in the living room at a time and for a family of 4-5, that 's not ideal for game night or a movie. Even bean bag chairs would have been nice. Sweet and safe neighborhood. One woman walking her dog even cleaned the snow and ice off of parked cars' windshields, which was odd at first glance and then we realized quite nice. Quiet and comfortble stay but really needs attention to a few key areas.

This place was perfect! It was in an adorable neighborhood. Very clean and super comfortable. The house was beautiful and accommodated all our needs. We’ll definitely be staying here again when we come back to visit!

We stayed at Harmony House for five days and loved it! It is family friendly with a large eating table exercise/play area and nice large bedrooms. The only suggestion is to have a small folding step stool for the “under six year olds” to be able to wash their hands and brush their teeth since the bathroom sink is taller which I like for us adults but not the toddler in the family. Also some “kid friendly” plastic cups and bowls would have been nice for the kids as well. Now that we know, we will be bringing our own step-stool and kid-friendly dishes because we will be back. Thank you!

The home was beautiful, open space . Perfect for our family and my dog . Backyard was big and living area was just like the pictures . Only downfall was I messaged them twice and didn’t get a response . So I had to call.

Great Coastal Get-away
This house is every bit what it appears to be in the photos! It's amply large for a big crowd and has a very well proportioned yard that easily accommodates two very large, high energy dogs (borzois). The location is excellent, less than 10 minutes to Safeway and within walking distance of the Hammond Coastal Trail. Definitely worth the stay.

Redwoods
We stayed here with our 3 kids while we hiked the nearby redwoods. We enjoyed the open layout and spacious extra room with the pool table! The kitchen was great .

Home is located in small residential neighborhood. Conveniently located midway between Trinidad and Eureka. Furnishings were new and everything was in excellent condition. Home could benefit from a few more side tables and lamps.

We found this to be an excellent location with room for our family. The kitchen was large enough and had all necessary incidentals. The location was in a quiet neighborhood with excellent access to bike paths, stores and other amenities.
As Humboldt Alumni from '85 many things have changed and this location provided a great base to revisit the area.

This is a nice large house with a large yard. We had a lovely time. There are a few issues you should be aware of though so you can plan accordingly are: There are only 4 dining room chairs. We had 5 people so we asked for an additional chair and they did bring us one. There is no microwave. The oven was not working but that was due to a power surge issue and they said it will be fixed soon.

Great location. Close to the beach and still in town close to shopping. Very quiet neighborhood with a nice backyard and deck. I would give it 5 stars but it was lacking a few things. It would be nice if there was a microwave, some large skillets and some more seating in the dining room and living room. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

The price seems like a lot until you put into perspective we would’ve ended up requiring three hotel rooms and the house was about the same price, but considerably more comfortable and accommodating. It would’ve been well suited for our dog as well.

The house was very comfortable, clean and inviting. We appreciated the laundry, patio and even the TV. The only thing I wish had been there was a blow dryer, but that is a small thing. The price seems like a lot until you put into perspective we would’ve ended up requiring three hotel rooms and the house was about the same price, but considerably more comfortable and accommodating. It would’ve been well suited for our dog as well.

The “part owner” living next door clearly doesn’t enjoy renting out the house, at least to families. She was constantly watching at front window or even in the yard and then complained when we started fire pit at 8:30am and when kids were running from front to back yards playing hide and go seek. The house is VERY loud inside due to open layout, tile flooring, thin walls, and lack of furniture to help with soundproofing. Has a pool table in large open room with no other furniture so it makes it echo off the granite flooring and through the house. Floors weren’t cleaned recently and my 18mo olds feet were black shortly after arrival. Kitchen definitely could be stocked better compared to other VRBO’s we’ve stayed at. Overall, I would say this house would be nice for a couple or two couples but if you have kids/family, you may want to try a different house.

Very clean! Comfortable beds and good hot showers. Tankless water heater made getting ready with 6 people a breeze. Quiet safe neighborhood...My grandmother has lived in this neighborhood for 40 years so I can honestly attest to that. It was a super convenient location for road trips north or south.
