Situated in Salsbury Cove, this lovely house for $470 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. The Maine Escape is a cozy 2 BR Home located above our garage on the property. The entrance is via the back deck and is secluded from the front of the house providing privacy for the unit. The deck has outdoor furniture as well as a view of Hamilton Pond across the street. Location Highlights: -6 min Drive to Acadia National Park [Hulls Cove Entrance] -12 min Drive to Downtown Bar Harbor The space Bedroom #1: -Queen Bed - Sleeps 2 Bedroom #2: -Twin Bed - Sleeps 1 -Twin Bed - Sleeps 1 Also Available: -Air Mattress Upon Request Kitchen: -Coffee Maker -Ground Coffee Provided -Teapot -Tea Bags Provided -Olive Oil Provided -Cooking Spray Provided -Oven -Microwave -Lobster Pot available to cook your own! Outdoor Space: -Private Deck facing away from other units w/ Outdoor Furniture -Pets are Welcome! Our Pet fee is $80 -The lawn space is shared with the unit on property -Fire Pit is available that is shared with the other unit on the property -Firewood is not provided but as you drive around you will see many of our neighbors selling bundles for $4-$8 at the end of their driveways -Parking is FREE at the property (2 Parking Spaces) Laundry Room: -Laundry is FREE and is located below the unit in the garage, this space is available for the other unit on the property to use as well -Laundry Detergent Provided -Dryer Sheets Provided Television: -The TV is a SMART TV that you are able to log into your own apps to view programming -The TV does NOT have Cable Workspace: -The unit has a dedicated workspace in the Kitchen/Living Room Area -The workspace is composed of a Desk, Chair, & Lamp -This unit has a FAST Internet Connection and DOES NOT share the Wi-Fi with any other unit on the property. The router is located in the unit if guests would like to have an Ethernet Connection instead of Wi-Fi A/C Units/Fans: -There is a Window A/C Unit in the Queen Bedroom -There is a Portable A/C Unit in the closet -There is a Standing Fan available as well --------------------------------------------------- -Outdoor Furniture is put out in Late May until the End of October -A/C Units are installed in Early June until the end of October Guest access The entire unit above the garage is available for access. The Laundry Room in the garage is shared with the unit next door, as is the backyard and fire pit space. Other things to note You will need to climb stairs to access this unit.

This is a tidy, well looked-after place to stay on Mt Desert Island, conveniently close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. We spent most of our time out of the apartment, but it was nice to have a comfortable place to relax in the evening. The kitchen had everything we needed - no dishwasher but that wasn't a big deal. The only minor complaint was that it is a little close to a main road (Route 3) and we could hear the traffic passing by. But otherwise, it is a nice place to stay.

We loved staying here! It was very clean, good kitchen amenities in the house and the outdoor patio was perfect. Very close to acadia and to bar harbor and many restaurants just down the road. The hosts left a lovely book with lots of details of places and restaurants around the area. Good wifi. One thing of note for dog owners, since it is on the second floor and the steps have partially spaced out slats, my dog had a little bit of trouble going up and down the stairs. He was able to manage it with a little help from us but for dog owners with dogs that have trouble with stairs, you may have to carry them up and down.
