Located in North Lawrence, this charming cabin for $395 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. You'll absolutely love this newly built amazing cabin in the highly popular Powder House Pass subdivision - Slippery Slope Lodge! With fully paved roads, access to the local clubhouse with heated pool, yard games, garage, 7-person hot tub, patio table with fire-pit, open living and full of windows, large TVs, Xbox, Internet and Satellite TV, and an extra refrigerator in the garage are just a few of the great amenities you'll enjoy while staying on your next vacation. Located in the heart of the recreational corridor of the Northern Black Hills, you'll enjoy close proximity to the ATV and snowmobile trails and ATV/sled rentals located over at Recreational Springs. Trail #5 and the Mickelson trail run adjacent to the subdivision and provides easy connected access to the larger trail system in the area. Spearfish Canyon with it's rim-rock canyon walls, waterfalls, hiking and trails can be accessed in a short 5 - 10 minute drive and Deadwood is just a short 10 - 15 minute drive or taxi ride to enjoy the local restaurants and nightlife. Main Black Hills attractions like Mount Rushmore, Sylvan Lake, Keystone, Custer State Park and more are all accessed within about an hour's drive down Hwy 385. Whether you're in the area to enjoy some adventurous trail riding, sight-seeing, or a nice place to kick your feet up for the weekend, Slippery Slope Lodge will be the perfect place to enjoy some R&R. After all that fun you're having locally, coming home to your very own private cabin will surely be the best part of your stay. You can enjoy a starry night sky while sitting in the 7-person hot tub, view local wildlife as it roams through the yard, sit by the fire on the table fire-pit or just enjoy grilling food on the partially covered deck. With over 2400 sq. ft. inside and 200 sq. ft. of deck, there's a lot of room to spread out. The living and kitchen area is surrounded with floor-to-ceiling windows bringing the outside, in. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals for you and your guests like a Keurig, 12 cup coffee maker, griddle, blender, hand mixer, crock pot/slow cooker and more. There's a 65" TV in the main level living area connected to the internet and Dish TV, and a 70" TV in the lower-level living area as well with an Xbox and 2 controllers. There are yard games in the garage along with a bar table with chairs, family games, and an extra fridge. The garage also has extra hooks for coats and helmets to help organize all those things you brought with on your trail adventures. Cabin was very nice and clean with lots of amenities. The only complaints were there isn’t enough hot water for a group. We could get in 3 showers and the rest were cold. The propane tank for the grill was completely empty, and I even reached out beforehand to ensure there was plenty of propane for us to grill. The cabin was stocked with plenty of towels, blankets, games and we loved the extra fridge in the garage.

The house was perfect! It was so clean, spacious, and beautiful! The location was gorgeous! We had all of the kitchen supplies we needed with plenty of room in the fridge! It was nice having a second fridge in the garage! It was also nice having so many indoor and outdoor games to choose from! Amd we enjoyed the hot tub almost every evening!

What a beautiful home nestled in a great location! A ton of amenities, close to Lead, Deadwood and Spearfish Canyon. The home is immaculate and we only had one quick question which was answered very quickly during our time there. It's a quiet neighborhood with a very nice community pool area. We wee absolutely thrilled we chose this home and may do so again.

We had a wonderful family vacation exploring local waterfalls and trails, seeing Mammoth Site, driving through Needles Highway and Custer State Park, stopping at dinosaur museum at school of mines, and enjoying the community pool. The house and area was gorgeous.

Took almost 90 minutes to grill some chicken legs. Additionally, make sure to bring your own dishwasher pods, because the dishwasher did not clean anything until we used name-brand pods instead of the generic liquid. Otherwise, we have a great trip and were all very comfortable.

We loved staying at the Slippery Slope Lodge. The place was beautiful! Everything from the setup in the garage with games & tables/the layout in the house/the outdoor hot tub and fire pit area, all were amazing - highly recommend staying there. It was everything we expected. Very well stocked. Separation of sleeping areas gave people privacy even though there were 12 of us. The extra refrigerator in the garage was great for our lunch bags that we could grab in the morning. We only spent evenings at the house because we were there as a group competing daily in Deadwood at a Cowboy Fast Draw National Championship.

Great Property for Family Reunion
This house had everything we needed for a great family vacation and more! From the beautiful accommodations, outdoor seating areas, garage seating areas and even yard games. Bunk room was great for the kids. The community center worked well for a large family gathering. Kids loved the outdoor pool and indoor pool table. Wonderful large fire pit outdoors for adults to sit and visit. Large family reunion with multiple families renting houses in the same property subdivision. Would highly recommend this area.

The setting is of course beautiful, and the home itself is perfect. Great design, beautifully decorated and so many features.
