About this apartment rental
Feel free to come and go as you like. You will enjoy complete privacy, safety, and peace. Our Guest House is a bit small but you'll have everything you need. This unit has a full bath, heating/AC, kitchenette, extremely comfortable queen bed, wifi, washer/dryer, refrigerator, outside patio with BBQ Grill and side burner, iron/ironing board, blow dryer, toiletries and it comes equipped with everything you'll need to be comfortable. National Airport 6 miles. Bus stop one block away.

This is a No Smoking Unit (Of Any Kind) Local bus route is 301. You will have one secure parking spot on the driveway.
Guest access
When you pull up in the driveway park on the right hand side. There may be a car or truck on the right side, just park in back of it, it’s not going anywhere. Just walk up the ramp and open up the back gate. You'll see the guest house. It will be open upon your arrival. When leaving just hit the lock button and it will lock. Please be careful not to lock the lower handle on your way out. There will be a note for guests on the refrigerator and it will explain everything you need to know.

We sent our parents to this property for part of their 50th anniversary present and my mom said "it was very nice, we enjoyed our stay. The only thing they should mention on the listing is there is a pretty steep hill (no steps) but steep to walk up to the property. I had to use my walking stick. But the host was very nice and greeted us and offered to help us." She was very pleased.

The cottage is small but well-equipped and comfortable. Lots of thoughtful planning went into equipping this space, from extra electronics cords to scissors and tape to Band-Aids; they've got all the bases covered. Communication with Jerry was quick and easy as well as friendly and efficient. Perfect for a single person and good for two if you're comfortable with very close quarters. It was for us.

Fantastic small cabin feel, clean, and a quick Uber drive to National Harbor. It was stocked with everything one needs (iron, lots of towels, coffee, etc.). Everything was in nice working order. I will stay here again next trip to the DC / National Harbor area.

Nice quiet place. everything in the room worked well; air conditioning TV,washer and dryer refrigerator freezer microwave. Parking was great and very nice neighbors. The yard was very large well kept up. The only thing I could say negative is the floor was not clean and quite a few cobwebs near the air conditioning.
