La ubicación, la distribución del departamento, muy limpio y cómodo. Las personas de atención son muy amables y solíciitas. Hay Cafetería y Restaurante en el mismo edificio

Suministro pobre de agua en cocina Ducha con falla que hace difícil el baño diario, requiere un mantenimiento.

El lugar tiene una vista privilegiada al mercado de los ponchos

hay dos restaurantes arriba y el otro abajo tuyo que hacen mucha bulla hasta las 12 y no puedes dormir

Great little apartment in central location, but not recommended if you are very sensitive to noise.

Excellent value for money ~ a cute little two bedroom apartment with a kitchen which was very welcome. Very close to the markets, restaurants and shops.

Everything was great except that the apartment is right on the market plaza and therefore is very noisy with two restaurants above and below in the night (very loud music), and also with the set up of the Saturday market right outside from 4.30am, which you can only hear from the front room. Perhaps it's more quiet during the weekdays. I also wasn't able to contact the owner when I needed to leave ~ I needed help carrying my heavy suitcase down the three flights of stairs. Luckily my taxi driver helped me or I would have been stuck for quite some time.

Disappointed Stay

The location is very good, the balcony is nice and the bed is comfortable. The room is spacious and clean enough.

It is not possible to take a shower; it's cold or you will get burned. On Saturday there's a concert above your head and the music is so loud it's like it is they are playing in the room. The bathroom smells very bad and the doors are to low for tall people to pass underneath.

The host is not to be trusted. He lied to us 3 times and was rude and unfriendly.

The location was good geographically. But poor as it is sandwiched between a Restaurant and a bar.

The host lied to us 3 times. 1st he agreed to supply transport to Otavlo from Quito. When this did not arrive we rang him and he offered to pay for a taxi to take us to Otavalo. When we arrived in Otavalo he refused to pay and actually charged us double the cost of a taxi. (we found the real cost when we taxied back to Quito) We asked about the noise from the Bar and Restaurant and he assured us it was finished b 10pm (that was fine) However it finished after12 and at 1am we still had staff screaming at each other outside our door. We asked to be released from the stay and he agreed. We agreed on a refund yet when his messenger arrived the refund was 30% below the agreed price. When we rang him he said he changed his mind and to take the lower amount or get nothing.

Great location, but the bar and bistro made it way too noisy.

We were on the third floor with a bar below and a bistro above. no elevator. the nights were noisy.

Can't recommend this place.

Location.

The fridge didn't work, was told it would be fixed next day. Then in morning there wasn't any hot water to shower. Was told it would be fixed. By evening it wasn't. They said they needed to get gas. When gas tank was changed that night there still wasn't any hot water. The fridge never worked. The floors were very squeaky, the bathroom door as well. So they moved us to a different room. This was Friday night. There's a club in the building so there was music and noise until about 1 AM. So it was hard to sleep. And, the host that let us in said we needed to pay cash, we did but he didn't have change. He said he would get us change later. But we never got it.

the sewer gas smell was very prevalent in the bathroom, making it almost unbearable.

Lovely apartment spoiled by noise and the attitude of the owner.

Nice spacious comfortable apartment. Well equipped. In the most central location you can get in Otavalo.

The owner tried to make us pay the commission that he owed to booking.com ,it left a bad taste in our mouth about our stay which was exacerbated by him being quite insistent about it, he only relented when we threatened to look for other accommodation for our second night in Otavalo. The apartment is on the third floor of a four storey building there is a bar upstairs and a bar downstairs and both had loud live music which didn't stop until midnight.

Pretty but LOUD apartment

Beautiful apartment, really spacious and with a great view over Plaza de los ponchos. Very nice and attentive host, with good communication. Fast wifi.

The apartment is extremely loud. Extremely! The music from above and below starts from around 4 in the afternoon and didn't stop until around 3 in the night (on a MONDAY). I could feel the vibrations in the sofa. It was unfortunately impossible to sleep. To bad really, because it is a beautiful apartment with nice wooden details etc.

Amazing value, great location, clean and new

There is zero sound proofing and you can hear EVERYTHING, dogs barking, music from the bars, conversations next door. We did not sleep at all, even with ear plugs.

Very good

Location is great, on the market square and close to everything. Parking space is included in the accommodation, they have a contract with a local parking lot where you can park the car for free. Apartment is nice and clean. On arrival we were upgraded to a larger room so that everyone had their own room.

Check in was a bit of a hassle. There is no reception and the number described in the booking was not reachable. Eventually, after asking around, the girl at the shop turned out to have the number of someone who had the key and she was there within 10 minutes. She did our check in.

It's ok but some things could be improved

Communication with the owner was very good, The place was clean

The placd is very loud (mych noise from the restaurant, market, bad acoustics). The pressure in thr shower is not great. Even though it's a flat, there is no fridge, no cutting board, etc. The place is cold at night, there is no heating.
