About this apartment hotel

Situated in Woodstock, this lovely apartment hotel for $360 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Our luxurious, spacious ground-floor suite is equipped with a king memory foam bed and sitting area with pull-out queen sofa bed and chairs plus a writing desk and plenty of room for a comfortable stay. Two windows overlook a side garden and an ante room provides privacy from the parlor and extra seating and closet space. Private bath with tub and shower. Twin Gables was established as a Boutique Hotel in 1926, when artists Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Daibler purchased the 19th-century house at the height of Woodstock's first flowering as a center for creative people. It was an unprecedented time in Woodstock’s history— the beginning of the Byrdcliffe Arts Colony, which served as a Utopian artists’ community, attracting free-spirits and bohemians from around the world. This charming Hotel has an established reputation as one of the most favored places to stay in Woodstock for nearly a century. Renowned for its relaxed, friendly atmosphere and charming ambiance, this Catskill Mountains’ inn, set in the stunning Hudson Valley, is in walking distance to most shops, galleries and restaurants of the Woodstock village. All rooms, as well as the common parlor area for sitting and relaxing, are decorated with period furnishings and boast original art work from local and global artists. And, for the modern convenience of its guests, WiFi is available throughout the accommodations for those traveling with their mobile devices. Organic coffee, tea, and filtered water is available at all times at the coffee & tea station located off the parlor. Twin Gables is devoted to minimizing its ecological footprint on the planet. Our amenities – soaps, shampoos, hair conditioners -- are completely natural, environmentally friendly and biodegradable – including the bottles themselves! We also minimize our water use and only use top-of-the-line natural cleaning products. Visitors come from all over the world to explore this “most famous little town in the world” to experience its arts scene, enjoy its restaurants, attend events, and enjoy its charm and tranquility. And a stay at Twin Gables, the oldest guesthouse in Woodstock, is an integral and gratifying part of that experience.

A mother/daughters' overnight getaway -- we are a family of 4, and this was our first trip without my father, who passed away earlier this year. We were visiting my sister in Brooklyn and wanted to enjoy a stay at a charming B&B in Upstate NY.

The location is so convenient, the rooms each have their own artistic flare and are very comfortable and the retro kitchen adds to the ambiance. The people welcoming and accommodating me (LeAnne and Lisa) are exceptional, warm and a pleasure to talk with.

Twin Gables is in the most convenient spot on Tinker Street in Woodstock. The rooms are so creatively decorated and the space is very well kept. We felt super safe coming back late at night and the other guests were very respectful. LeAnn is an amazing innkeeper, she provided great information on what to do during the weekend and gave us some local recommendations.
