A Former Model Home located in Historic Fairfield, PA. 2.5 Miles from Liberty Mountain Ski Resort & 8 Miles from the Battlefields in Gettysburg, PA. 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 baths- sleeps 8 comfortably. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout. Tiled bathrooms. Stainless steel appliances & granite countertops. Large laundry room with full size washer & dryer. Rear deck with views of Liberty & the surrounding mountains with outside seating. We are Walking distance to 2 restaurants. Ample off street parking. Highspeed Wireless Internet. 2 Brand New 50 Inch TVs. Gorgeously decorated by a professional designer. We have local areas for Fishing, Kayakers, bikers, skiers or hikers at Caladonia and Cunningham Falls State Parks. Local Wineries are also close by. We do not refund money in the winter if the Ski Resorts are closed for weather or any other reasons.

The home was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were only a party of 4 but the home could have easily slept 8 comfortably. Would definitely rent this properly again if we return to the Gettysburg area. Thank you Trish!

Very homey, which we needed as we were attending a funeral and we were family and friends who didn’t all know each other. Trish also was very kind and thoughtful throughout this stay. She was very helpful answering questions and changing the reservation as needed.

My college room mate and I stayed here for three nights while visiting Gettysburg. The property is even better than listed. We cooked great dinners every night and the spacious kitchen is well equipped with cookware and kitchen tools and bar set-up. Super eating areas. The deck is a great feature for morning coffee . The decor is smart and tasteful while the room finishing are 1st class. The baths and bedrooms are spot-on clean and spacious . Check-in was a breeze. The neighborhood is slow, quite and safe. You get what you pay for in a VRBO and this was one of the best properties I have used. Owner was responsive and great on communication.

We stayed at Tall Haven as a home base for the PIAA Track Meet. It was very clean and well appointed. Fairfield was close to Gettysburg and about 40 minutes from Shippensburg. Very quiet small town, but close to restaurants in Chambersburg and Gettysburg. We enjoyed our weekend stay.

My in-laws, wife, and I had a great time at the house. It had everything you could need for a stay. Trish was quick with responses to my questions. It was just as beautiful in person as it is online. It is a great location between Gettysburg and Mt. Saint Mary’s where our two sons were located for the weekend. It made travel to both a breeze. We will have to check out the cute local pub a few houses down next time we stay. We will be back for sure. Might have to check out the slopes over the winter next year.

We enjoyed our time at Tall Haven. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. Super close to Liberty Ski and a quick/easy drive to Gettysburg. Accommodations were wonderful and kitchen was stocked with what we needed. Only items missing were some cooking spray/oil and salt!

Everything was so nice and I personally loved the christian theme. I would recommend it to anyone!!

Terrific accommodations and convenient to Gettysburg. Everything you can want was in the home. The beds were just incredibly comfortable. Very well decorated and just sparkling clean. The only thing is if you’re a light sleeper if you’re in one of the two bedrooms that face the street you can hear a little bit of noise. We would stay there again in a heartbeat

Great experience
We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the flexibility and support from the host. Our family of 4 had plenty of room and were very comfortable. Location was nice since it was very close to Libery. Only challenge was finding groceries and gas station quickly, so I recommend having a full tank and all necessities when you arrive. We would certainly love to stay here again!

Great stay in Fairfield. There happened to be a small fall festival the time we were staying; the host was gracious enough to inform us prior to the stay. It was perfect for our group!! Great stay in Fairfield. There happened to be a small fall festival the time we were staying; the host was gracious enough to inform us prior to the stay. It was perfect for our group!! The kids and adults had a great time. Very close to Gettysburg and state parks nearby. We enjoyed evenings in the home relaxing with one another. Very clean and well kept. Would highly recommend.

Great ski getaway!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was very clean and well-decorated. It’s only a 5 minute drive to Liberty Mountain, so super easy to drop off/pick up the kids from a day of skiing. We’d definitely stay here again.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. The home is pristine, with a well equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and there were all the extra towels and linens you may need. As a couple days of skiing was our intent, we were so happy to be only 2 miles from Liberty Mountain. My daughter and her husband also enjoyed the driving tour of the Gettysburg battlefield which was only 8 miles away. There were plenty of restaurants in the area offering take-out if you didn’t want to cook during your stay. I highly recommend this rental if you need accommodations in the Gettysburg area. You won’t be disappointed!
