Ydor Hotel & Spa by Sandglass

Hotel is very centrally located, a short drive to the port and within walking distance to many lovely restaurants and shops. Breakfast included both a buffet, with an assortment of hot and cold foods ,as well as the option to order a variety of eggs from the kitchen. The hotel restaurant was also fantastic for either drinks, sundowners or a delicious meal with an Asian flare. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The staff throughout were very friendly and the reception desk was most accommodating, especially Pano who took care of us and was most helpful with all his restaurant and beach recommendations.

This was the 3rd time we stayed in Ydor Hotel & Spa, over the last 5 years. We like a lot the location which provides good atmosphere overall, easy access to Vourkari which is the live area of the island, has great view on the bay, nice size clean rooms, large balconies from where you can enjoy the beautiful sunset and good restaurant. Very good team helping you feel like a guest.

Breakfast was basic. On arrival it was only one person who had to deal with reception, support the parking and take the guests and the luggage to their rooms, which created bottleneck despite the strong effort and pleasant approach of the individual. It seemed though that this was not the norm, as in all other days there were at least two people engaged with welcoming the guests.

Absolutely brilliant! The staff were the real stars of our stay friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help.The room was amazing, and the location couldn't have been better, with the mall and plenty of restaurants just a short walk away, and the beach only two minutes from the hotel. The cocktails were fantastic too. Overall, an excellent experience, made truly special by the outstanding staff. Highly recommended!

Location is great and room sizes are big

The beds are exceptionally small for such large suites and the mattresses were terrible! The sun loungers were also outdated and very uncomfortable
