1. great location, 6min drive from Rusutsu with free shuttles everyday.
2. room and facilites are all nice and clean, especially bathroom. 3 bathrooms each for male & female, but the girls’ were never busy
3. cozy community space, cook if you like, games offers for bigger group, other time it can just be nice and quiet for some reading and rest
4. Dry room at B1 is huge and powerful. Enough space if you want to wax your board. (need to work out your own working platform tho, there are some small logs you can pile up, but remember to take towers/clothes or other soft materials between logs and your board.
Really no restaurant options if you are not driving… only one Beef BBQ restaurant on the 1st floor (but pretty nice and not crazy expensive), then you have to rely on LAWSON 3mins walk away(we’ll, not that bad if you get use to mix&match Lawson options, don’t forget you got a kitchen and two fridges) —— I stayed 10 nights and it turned out Okay.

All the staff are extremely helpful and wonderful people. Jojo and Ota are amazing humans. The place is always clean and the restaurant is top tier.
Theres not a-lot of storage for clothing and ski gear and besides from the free shuttles they offer there is no public transport to the mountain.

Restaurant was tasty.
This hostel was frustrating; they had a good kitchen but was only available at night. This made breakfast difficult as there was no cutlery, plates or ability to cook and wash up. Coffee machine that was available was always empty and nowhere available to fill up. Only breakfast options were Lawsons. A 15 min drive to Rusutsu, if staying to SKI, I would highly recommend you have a car.
Futon mats were uncomfortable, we did ask for more mats and they were provided.
