This home is all on one floor and sits on two-and-a-half acres and is located less than 20 miles from the Wolf Creek Ski area and the historic town of Creede. South Fork is surrounded by National Forest and offers many outdoor activities. A game room sits apart from main living area so the kids, both young and old, can make noise and have fun while others relax in the main living area. This home includes a large kitchen with all the amenities to hang out and cook your favorite meals. There is a king-size bed in the first bedroom, a queen in the second, three twins and a queen in the third, and a king in the fourth, so you'll have plenty of sleeping accommodations for up to eight guests. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 1. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. I booked the cabin for my sons 17th birthday and he invited 5 friends to ski wolf creek with him. There was plenty of room for 6 boys and 2 adults. It snowed 3ft at wolf creek during our stay and our 2 wheel drive vehicle had no issues getting to the cabin and mountain. I would recommend this cabin for any group of 8 or more that is wanting to ski wolf creek. Plenty of sleeping accommodations and dished for meals. There is not a lot to do in south fork but we were there to ski and sleep so it was the perfect place for us. I will consider booking it again.

Awesome property that my friends and I stayed at while attending a wedding. Everything was clean when we arrived, and there was enough bedding/towels for all of us. Wish we could have stayed longer and taken advantage of the game room!

Overall was a good stay, the floors were not cleaned and one of the bathroom showers smelled like they had dogs penned up in it smelled of urine. Everything else was just as described

We traveled with 4 families and this home was just what we needed. There were plenty of beds for everyone and we didn’t feel crowded. Kitchen was well stocked and the home was clean. The home is on the end of a dead end road so there was no traffic to worry about. Lots of room to park 4 vehicles (2 with trailers). There was a minor maintenance issue when we arrived but Vacasa took care of it immediately. Nothing negative to say about this home or host.

This cabin was fantastic! Adults and kids enjoyed all of the entertainment options: pool table, ping-pong table, the gaming systems with all the variety of games, board games, card games and more!! The family dining table for 9 of us was also a major plus for us. All the kids could sleep in the same room and the parents all had rooms to themselves.

It was clean and quiet. Saw deer on the property a couple of times. The game room was a big hit! A lot of pooled was played. I needed to do some work on vacation so the WIFI was very much appreciated and it worked great! Suggestions for improvement: It would be good to provide a new whisk. The one provided was usable, but that handle kept falling off. Another suggestion would be to provide some smaller size cups. The ones provided were very large. Overall, we loved our stay at Wharton Wilderness! The suggestions for improvement were very small isses.

This house has a fully stocked kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of room where the adults could be in the living area and kids in the game room. This house is on a very quiet street. Will definitely stay here again.

Thank you for a wonderful experience at this property. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was sufficiently stocked and the game room was a blast! The only suggestions we have would be to provide more toilet paper (4 rolls for 6 days with 7 people) and perhaps some trash cans in the bedrooms. Again, wonderful place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient location in South Fork.

The house was big enough that we weren’t on top of each other. The game room was a huge hit with all of the kids. Kitchen is very well stocked. Plenty of extra blankets & towels. The extra fridge in the game room was a nice surprise. Would definitely stay here again. Great property.

This cabin is in a great place! It was easy to find and well stocked! It was beautifully decorated. This cabin had plenty of room for our large family with a bunch of teenagers. The gameroom was a hit and allowed us downtime to enjoy the scenery while keeping the kids from getting bored. Will definitely stay there in the future!
