The hostess Antoinette was kindness personified. The continental breakfast she provided was a lovely spread (various meats, cheeses, home made jams, fresh fruits, plus fresh bread, juice, yoghurt, cake and plentiful good coffee and hot milk). Super really. There was a line for hanging hand-washing in the garden. We had requested two separate beds and got a separate little bedroom for one of us - which was great for two friends travelling together. Generally, it was just a really well run, kind, generous B&B - a nice experience! And there was a choice of 2 good restaurants for dinner in a nice village with lovely sunset views about 10 minutes' walk from the house, even this early in the season (first half of April).
Nothing! The centre of Bidart is very charming, so pause to enjoy it/have a look around on your way through as the B&B is far enough beyond the town centre that you probably won't wish to retrace your steps (if you're journeying on foot, that is.)

A lovely home, clean and well presented, friendly, helpful owner and good continental breakfast. Secure parking in gated property. Very close to beach and lots of lovely restaurants.
It wasn’t a dislike as such but we weren’t sure whether we were sharing a bathroom with other guests or whether there were other guests on our floor which felt a bit awkward having our 13 year old daughter in her own room. However I would have asked about this if I spoke French so was partly due to language barrier which is no fault of the host.

Antoinette was a lovely host, although she speaks limited English it is enough, the property is lovely and she makes her breakfast quite special, she seems very proud of what she does. She is a lovely person

The room is very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom isn’t ensuite but didn’t seem to be shared with anyone else. Antoinette the owner provides welcomes you warmly and leaves you privacy. The breakfast is huge and delicious cheese, ham, homemade jams, brioche, bread, cake, freshly pressed orange juice etc. the house is on a busy road but the house is far back from the road and you can’t hear the traffic from the room that has a garden view.
we would prefer an ensuite bathroom but as long as it is private then it won’t bother.

Lovely room with a lovelier host - Antoinette was incredible! So welcoming, the room was spotlessly clean and there were nice touches like coffee, biscuits and a kettle. Bed was incredibly comfortable with lovely bedding.
As many other reviewers have said, the breakfast was exceptional - a proper continental spread with homemade jams as well, at least 10 flavours to choose from.
Wouldn’t hesitate to return - merci beaucoup Antoinette, c’était parfait!

Very welcoming and friendly secure off road parking.
The bedroom was well appointed, beautiful furnishings, tv and tea making facilities in room.
Beakfast was included in our booking and it was super, homemade jams, fresh warm bread, meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, fruit juice, coffee, water.
Nothing was to much trouble. Very nice indeed.
