About this house rental
Nestled in Salsbury Cove, this charming house for $511 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Minutes away from Acadia National Park and down town Bar Harbor, this cottage is well equipped with every thing you need for your home away from home. This home features 2 bedrooms, one with a King size bed and newly added en-suite with full bath and laundry. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The private loft has 2 additional full size beds allowing you to comfortably sleep 6-8 guest, sleeping 6 adults comfortably. Newly installed front load washer and dryer and 500/500 WiFi allowing you to comfortably work from “home”. The property allows for plenty of parking and privacy with 1 1/2 acres of elbow room. We also have the yard sprayed monthly for ticks, and have bat boxes on the property to help naturally control the mosquitoes. *2.8 miles to Acadia National Park *5.3 miles to down town Bar Harbor *5 minute walk to scenic Salisbury Cove *45 min. to Bangor International Whether you’re out exploring or enjoying the wrap around porch and fire pit, you will find serenity here at Conifer Ridge.

This was the perfect vacation cabin. Great size, very comfortable and host was very helpful. By far my favorite vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We traveled with two young kids and two active dogs and everyone had lots of fun just spending time at home. The location CAN'T BE BEAT! It is so close to the shops/restaurants in Bar Harbour (10 min drive) but far enough away to feel like you're isolated in the woods. Definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

We had a great relaxing time at the cottage. It had great amenities as we traveled with our family including our baby. Our sound machine had died and we were able to use one the host had in the rental! So fantastic to have a family friendly option.

We had a very nice time at the cabin. It was decently stocked and we thought the amenities were nice. The washer/dryer was great and the living area was very nice. Two things stuck out to me though - one is that the listing says this cabin sleeps 8. That's a stretch. It sleeps 6. 7 if someone sleeps on the couch. MAYBE 8 if you squish two kids into each bed in the loft area. But not 8 adults. Second, the older bathroom has mold on the ceiling that really needs to be cleaned. Maybe a strong interior fan would help, I'm not sure. Overall though, it was a nice property and we had a great time.

It was our first visit to Maine. We had a relaxing visit at this sweet, quaint rustic but updated Log Cabin. The short 10 minute drive to Bar Harbor was perfect and we were able to see everything we wanted to see for this trip. We'll definitely be back!

My family and I enjoyed out stay. It was very clean, quiet and the location was great. They provided with all the needed amenities. We even saw some deers during our stay! Definitely recommend!

Wonderful location. Very clean. Well kept. The only small problem I encountered was that there was not a screen in the second bathroom window. Otherwise it was a great house.

Adorable cabin nestled in woods on a steep incline. 5 and 2 year old enjoyed playing in the yard, on the porch and making s’mores in the fire pit. Kitchen is well equipped and living space was sufficient for 3 adults and two little ones. Sleeping arrangements ample with master bedroom, bathroom and laundry suite delightful. A 10 minute drive to Bar Harbor, but close to ice cream and mini golf for kids. We would stay here again. Erin is wonderful to work with!

Our family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights to explore Acadia and Bar Harbor. The location was perfect! It was an easy trip to anywhere on MDI which was awesome after a busy day to have an easy trip back to the cabin to relax. The setting was great. The cabin sits back in the woods so it has that remote, peaceful feeling but it is convenient to everything MDI has to offer. The cabin was as described and our family or 4 had plenty of space. Check in and check out were easy and Erin responded quickly to any questions we had. We had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again for any future trips to MDI!

We stayed here for the July 4th weekend with our friends. The cabin is absolutely beautiful in terms of location and indoors. All the amenities were present, without it being overly modernized. It has a rustic charm. My favorite part was sitting by the fire on a foggy evening

We loved the quick access to everything in Acadia! The cottage was a perfect size for the 7 of us- we loved sitting on the porch after a long day hiking! Erin was quick to respond with questions and so helpful! The property is private while being close to Bar Harbor and Acadia!

Nice location to visit all that Acadia National Park had to offer. Easy drive to Bar Harbor. Check-in was easy. Home provided all the amenities we needed. We would stay here again! Master bath/laundry was seemed to be a new addition to the home and a welcome one.

Just returned from 4 night stay at this cabin just outside of Acadia NP (2 adults, 3 teens). Very quiet area, away from the rest of the crowds, but less than 10 min drive from the Hull Cove entrance of the park, and less than 15 min drive to Bar Harbor. Cabin was exactly as described. Great to have the washer/dryer available ... allowed us to pack lighter. Beds were comfortable, and the fireplace heated up the place nicely on a couple of the cooler nights.

My wife and I visited the bar harbor area for our wedding anniversary. The Cabin was exactly as pictured and described. It was immaculately clean upon our arrival and had all the amenities we could have needed for our stay. Nice, tucked away location to be away from others when we wanted, but only a short drive from town and Acadia to do things with ease. We also brought our dog with us and he LOVED the cabin and all the room outside to explore. When we look to visit the area again, we will definitely go to Erin to rent here first.

It's not easy to find a property that is nice and clean and yet still allows dogs. Well....look no further you will find it here. Check-in and communication with the owner Erin was fantastic. We had a little problem with the gas fireplace, but the property manager was quick to fix it. There was 8 of us (4 adults 4 children) plus two dogs and there was plenty of room. The location was perfect in our opinion. It's just a short ride but still plenty close to Acadia National Park.

Only a 5 minute drive to Acadia Park entrance and 15 minutes to. Bar Harbor.
Cozy and warm with the gas fireplace
Fully stocked by host who responded quickly to our questions.

Cute cabin! It was cold in the cabin - the space heater inadequate for heating the space. Coffee maker did not work, kitchen pans and dishes were not very clean and the oven was very dirty. We ended up washing everything before we used it. New bathroom with laundry is very. nice. The windows in the bedrooms with the crank out handles are broken. Overall the place seems like it is in the middle of renovations - there was no wall covering below the main electrical panel and no siding on the new bathroom.

We had a really good experience with the property. The property manager was quick to reply, and many small amenities were included (soap, shampoo, laundry detergent) that I typically have to bring with me. The only downside was there were no light blocking window treatments. Some high windows had no covers at all and the early sunlight wakes my kids. The heavy tree cover helped. We would stay here again.
