A handy location only 40mins drive to the international airport. We stayed on our last night in CR. A brief stay but everyone was warm and friendly, and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
Dinner was delicious and they accommodated my GF needs no problem. Breakfast also plentiful and fresh.
Also recommend a visit to to the Toucan Rescue ranch which is a few Kms away - very interesting visit, well worth it (not just Toucans, up close to sloths and a bunch of other animals).
For any travellers coming soon (April 2026) be aware that Route 32 is being completely closed for half days (mornings) for roadworks following a land slide. We waited two hours on the other side of the stoppage to reach the area!

It was fascinating to see this property with villas in different styles from around the world. Very convenient stopping off point en route from one coast to the other. The hosts were charming and friendly.
The villa we stayed in was clean but it was also musty smelling. It was hard to sleep with the noise of traffic from the road. I would not recommend the dinner option and please note that children will be charged full price to eat.
