We loved everything about this apartment. In particular, the excellent service by our host - Francesco. Our stay was made so fantastic by firstly being picked up and driven to our accommodation, to receiving local recommendations that allowed us to have a wonderful experience. Thank you Francesco for making our stay in Lucca so memorable.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location. Owner went above and beyond collecting us from the train station and having the apartment ready early. He also gave us very good recommendations for restaurants and ice cream. An excellent stay.

There were no meals provided. Supermarket was very close.
Owner collected us from the station and took us back at the end of our stay
The flat was at the top of a historic building with views out from the balcony
Being at the building top there were stairs. 54 of them and we wouldn't recommend this to those who would find this a problem.
However, Francesco took our luggage up when we arrived and down at the end of our stay.
Particularly liked Pasquale's restaurant in a courtyard off Via Del Moro a few minutes away from the flat.

Francesco was lovely and showed us to the apartment along with giving us restaurant/bar recommendations. Communication with him was also very easy
Air conditioning system was not very effective
The mattress in the master bedroom was unfortunately uncomfortable
Could do with a fresh sponge/ cloth in the kitchen and some kitchen roll
