Beautiful and comfortable stay!

Staff could not have been nicer, every one of them was exceptional, all so kind and helpful. Pool bar had good food, and lovely cocktails. Air-conditioning in the room was good and hotel was very clean, with high quality daily housekeeping with plenty of fresh daily towels. Good location too, close to town (but not too close) as it was a walkable distance but also quiet at nice. Pool was warm and clean and sun beds etc were lovely and comfortable. View from the pool bar was lovely and you can cool off in the pool with a drink in hand with a view of the sea.
I learned the hard way that the tap water is salty and I feel that maybe it would have been helpful if we were warned. Also I felt it was quite expensive for what it was, I feel I overpaid as I paid for a sea view which it technically was but it was also over looking an abandoned building site and a school so not idea, also the room was smaller than expected for the price
Last, a strange smell in the reception area not "bad" but just an odd smell

Location is very nice, just 5 min walking to
Main shopping area. Beds were comfy and breakfast was good
The water in the shower and bathroom maybe is desalinated
And the taste is not good

The aircon in the room was good and very much needed. The bed was very comfy and I enjoyed my little balcony with a view of the sea. The room was clean.
The bathroom was a little small and the shower was only just big enough. It was cramped so the shower curtain kept sticking to me and there was a bit of a smell. The decor is a bit dated for instance the wallpaper and the carpet. The breakfast is average and could have been better. There was no plug socket near the bed so I had to charge my phone overnight on the desk so not within reach to find out the time. The fuse box cover kept falling on me and indeed the shower head kept falling on me.
