Located in Watauga, this charming house for $186 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Heaven's View is a beautiful 3 bedroom home in Blowing Rock that offers stunning views of Grandfather Mountain! A lot of time and care has been put into bringing this home up to speed with today's farmhouse chic style that everyone loves! The kitchen has nice stainless appliances, butcher-block countertops and it stocked with everything you need to cook a delicious meal. There are two stools at the bar for quick eating and 6 chairs at the dining table for a family meal with loved ones. Over into the living room you will find a wood-burning fireplace, flat screen TV and nice leather couches. There are many windows allowing you to admire the pretty view outside! The master bedroom is on the main level and features a king bed. The full bathroom is in the hall and features a tiled shower with glass doors. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, one with a queen and twin bed and the other with a king bed. In the hall upstairs there is a twin daybed built into the wall. These spaces will share a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Total sleeping space for 8 people. Outside is surely to be your favorite spot while staying at Heaven's View. There is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs around. Enjoy a cool summer or fall evening in the new hot tub, by the fire with your favorite beverage and smores kit. Additional notes: - CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. - Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night. - Located at over 3800' elevation, this home does not offer air conditioning. It does have a heating system for winter. - This home is accessed by a steep road and 4WD or AWD vehicles are recommend during winter months. - Pet friendly with a $25 per day, per dog fee. - Check in time is 4PM and check out time is 10AM. - Internet is currently Satellite-based with a monthly data cap. It's adequate for checking emails and general web browsing but should NOT be used for streaming, videos, or gaming activities. Depending on your phone carrier, your cell phone signal may or may not work in this location. Verizon is the best coverage here. If your wireless plan supports it you can use your phone's data as a hotspot. - Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent. - Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. - No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. - Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. - No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. We had an overall great stay at Heavens View. Since it was only two of us we didn't even use the upstairs but it looked nice. The downstairs was set up well with good, comfortable furniture. Outside area was private and set up for some good porch sitting, bonfires, and hot tub worked perfectly. Only issue we ran into was streaming being the only way to watch TV there (no direct TV or DISH). The internet was intermittent and our Verizon hotspots didn't have enough to stream. We are the kind of people that do enjoy a little couch/tv time after a long day of hiking. Obviously, for those that don't care about tv in the mountains this would be a non-issue. Blue Ridge was responsive when we brought this up but pretty much said there wasn't much they could do. It's a very nice house and we had a great vacation but will probably stay somewhere a little closer to town next year and/or somewhere with a different tv setup.

We had a relaxing time at this property. The king size bed was very comfortable and it is tastefully decorated. The view is gorgeous and the back porch is lovely for eating, relaxing and reading a book. I did have several issues with the property management company. I emailed two days before we arrived to ask if we could check in about 45 minutes early around 3:15 as we needed wifi access for our daughter to take a class remotely for an hour and a half. They said to call the day of checkin and they could tell me if this was possible. We arrived in Boone around 2:30pm and I called the property management company at the number they gave me around 3pm and they were very rude. I asked politely 3 times if we could check in at 3:15 and they kept stating "this is against our policy". I explained 3 times that I had emailed them previously and they had instructed me to call the day of and ask if it was possible and the lady I spoke with was not interested in helping me or even willing to call the cleaning lady to see if she was finished. I had to ask again and then she finally said she would call and then she abruptly hung up on me with no goodbye, no I'll call you back, nothing. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I then called back to speak with customer service and they told me they would look into this but they lady never called back or texted me anything. We also had a problem with the cabin when we arrived as the living room smelled like urine. We asked them to come back and clean the carpet in the living room as the smell of urine overpowered the room when we were sitting there and they NEVER came back to do anything the ENTIRE week. I also emailed them and they responded but never came to do anything so each day and night as we watched TV, sat in the living room, etc. we smelled urine the entire time. If I were the owners of this property, I would find a new property management company as they are not attentive to your guests who are paying top dollar to rent your property. I have never had such a poor experience with contacting a management company in my life.
