Royal Seven Stars Hotel

Interesting building.V comfortable. Good bar and breakfast

Nothing really

We loved how olde world the property was. The staff were friendly, welcoming & helpful. We loved the food choices, which were delicious. Ruby Hugo cocktail was very good. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable & peaceful. Perfect for our overnight stay. Thank you.

View out the window (Main Street). They don’t allow pets in room (we have allergies).

There was a room that we would have liked to have tea in or just read as our room was small but it was for private events.

The location was really good.

We booked a Spa room . There were no bath robes, the heated towel rail in the bathroom wasn’t functioning, the toilet flush kept sticking on, the supplied toiletries were near empty, the two seater sofa was stained, the duvet was split at the top, the hairdryer was blocked and overheated within seconds. It is sad but clear the new owners of the Hotel (St Austell Brewery) are not maintaining the standards this fine Hotel used to have. Despite all this, the housekeepers and staff were doing their best they could given the lack of investment this Hotel needs. If the staff hadn’t has been as lovely as they were we would have gone somewhere else.
