Fantastic location near the exclusive resorts that cost 4 times as much. We loved quiet mornings with breakfast in our PJs overlooking the course and the ocean. No waiting for a table or a cup of coffee. Grocery store is a 5-10 minute walk. Several wonderful restaurants are a 5 minute stroll away. We found it easier to get an Uber or Lyft to our activities than to rent a car. Never waited more than 3 minutes. Two bathrooms on vacation is a marriage saving bonus . Kitchen was fully equipped. Hosts made it easy and relaxing for check-in and out. Only negative was the bed was kind of uncomfortable for us (but we’re used to a really high end mattress). We’d stay here again without hesitation.

The hosts were impeccable with communication! The property was well described. Everything was in order. Great location and amenities. Would definitely recommend for a secure, hospitable place to stay in Wailea!

Here is my communication with the owner. Her answer was that it will be addressed in the future.
My msg to owner: ...I did want to mention a couple things that were surprising to us, especially compared to other 5-star rentals we have rented, having to do with cleanliness.
-There is something on the bedroom closet door that is not clean. Probably dripped from the A/C. All the doors in general could use a good wipe down, but this one in particular is not good.
-The windows and screens are quite dirty. A number of screens have holes.
-The bedroom blinds have mildew on them. Looks like they need replacing.
-There's a bottle of some chemicals in the bathroom closet that is quite dirty and could easily go out of sight in the locked closet...
Owner's response:
...Sorry to hear about all the issues. Our unit is for sale and we are set to schedule a deep clean very soon. In the meantime, I will address it with the cleaning company. They are very responsible and have always done a wonderful job. Again, I appreciate you bringing the issues to my attention and it will be addressed.
