Loved everything about the property. And the staffs are wonderful and one should never miss the food.

The room was comfortable and quiet. The staff were incredibly friendly and as a solo female traveler I felt very safe. The pups were a bonus! The food was great but could have been more spicy, but that's more on me because I don't look like someone who can handle the heat.

The location, the staff, the food, old Portuguese style architecture
We were initially upgraded from our booked Jaipur Suite to the Penthouse Suite, which was a very pleasant surprise. However, on the second day we were abruptly informed that we had to move to a much smaller room due to a booking mix-up by the guesthouse. We were told another couple had booked the penthouse for a month and that the error was on the property’s side.
It was extremely disappointing that, during our 3-night stay, we were allowed to enjoy the penthouse for only one night. What made this worse was that we were asked to downgrade rather than offering the long-stay guests a short adjustment. To add to this, our belongings were moved to the smaller room while we were away, without our consent.
Although the last two nights were not charged, our intention was not a free stay but a comfortable room at a fair price. Unfortunately, that expectation was not met, and it significantly dampened our experience.
The replacement room had no Wi-Fi connectivity, and the shower water pressure was extremely poor—barely a trickle—which added to the disappointment.
