Nice property and shows like the online listing My problem were the things you couldn’t see. Very steep drive and no stairs from the street to the house, had to walk up the driveway and it rained so a slippery driveway. Hot tub was turned off, not a problem but wasn’t inform during check in. Water to one toilet was turned off so toilet didn’t work, and again not notified during check in. Again ok but not great for elderly or people who would have problems walking.

Overall really good place. Would stay here again. Our family, 21 of us, enjoyed the common areas very much. Lots of TV/Media, great deck. Many details left undone. Vacuum left out, not swept, no/few paper products, ice dispenser did not work, iron did not work, some rooms very crowded. Driveway too steep to traverse in wet weather.

I’ll start with the good points. The views from the porch are lovely. The house is big and can accommodate a lot of people. The neighborhood seems nice. The dining room is very well-lit with a great table. The tiles and window in the upstairs shower/bath are beautiful. Now for the negatives, which unfortunately stole the show. We asked if we could do a slightly early check in (3pm instead of 4pm) and were told yes. The first thing that greeted us was a driveway that was an absurd incline. If you have anyone with mobility issues, this may not be the rental house for you. Upon entering the house through the scratched grungy garage door, we were greeted by a washing machine that was already running and leaking water all over the floor. (We never used the washing machine). It seems that the cleaning crew that was there working on the house was told to flee with the clothes on their back and leave every single thing where it lay. All the doors were left unlocked. The main level floor didn’t look like it had been mopped for a long time. An unopened bottle of mouthwash and a bottle of shower gel were confusingly placed on the round table in the kitchen, with a single box of tissues as a centerpiece on the main dining table. A bottle of 95% empty watered-down dish soap at the kitchen sink was all that was available to wash pots and pans. A giant opened package of toilet paper was just thrown on one of the nightstands in an upstairs bedroom. There wasn’t soap in half the bathrooms and the ones that did have soap were nearly empty bottles. There were no trash cans in any of the bathrooms or bedrooms. Some of the mirrors were dirty. One of the beds was clearly unmade with unwashed sheets. Many light switches had visible grime on them. Towels were stacked wherever. An old sock was shoved behind the bed in the master bedroom. There were large dust piles under both upstairs queen beds. Every linen closet looked like someone had just thrown whatever mismatched wrinkly sheets or old pillows in there. The hot tub maxed out at 94 degrees which was disappointing as it was one of the main reasons we booked this house. Every single bedroom upstairs is lit with what seems to be a single 40w incandescent bulb that makes each room look like the setting of a horror movie. Someone did come back to finish cleaning when we requested it after arriving, but I think even if the cleaning crew had 3 days to clean, this house would still be an overwhelming project.

From the large patio you get some of the best views of Texas! The amenities were perfect for what we needed and the AC more more than sufficient to handle the San Antonio heat! Especially considering we were 20 people. Host was fantastic and accommodating. If we ever come back to San Antonio, this will be the place we go to.

If you are looking for fancy this isn’t it, but if you are looking for laid back fun you found the place. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub. There is a big table that is great for games. The deck was super nice late in the evening and we cooked steaks on the grill.

This is a beautiful home. I love the beautiful layout of it. The only complaint for me was the driveway. If you bring your elderly parents, make sure you have a vehicle that can travel up slopes because they would not be able to walk up it. You can get perfectly fit going up and down that driveway. My grandkids had no problem on foot going up and down it. You need vehicles with big wheels because of the slope. My brother came over and his truck made it up there. We left our cars parked on the side of the road in which they were perfectly safe. On foot, I had to pull myself up and my kids discovered to walk like Barney coming down, and actually leaning back putting my weight back helped me going down. I put the bounce in it and all after I watched them do it. 😆 The photos does not speak for this home. The fireworks show was awesome watching from the balcony. Everything that you would need is available at this home. My grands enjoyed the neighborhood pool. The neighborhood was overall safe and quiet. There were beds beds and extra beds to accommodate a large group. My family had a blast.
