“The cottage” and the facilities provided.. top notched. it was truly amazing! The experience was even better than we expected at this price. The place is calm, peaceful, and very close to the beach – perfect for a relaxing getaway. It was just a one-night stay this time, but we would definitely love to come back and spend 2–3 days here next time.
Tip to improvement- the main bedroom door and washroom door latches were not locking properly. please get them fixed.

The room was spacious, AC worked well.
Interior was clean when we arrived.
The kitchenette was a good-to-have though we didn't use it much. Appreciated the water purifier there, as we dislike buying plastic water bottles everyday.
1. The staff called us in the afternoon on the day of check-in to ask what time we would arrive, we let them know it'd be roughly the same time we indicated on booking.com. He muttered something about some work at the entrance, to which I asked if there was any problem with the room allotted, and he said no. The location mentioned on the confirmation was utterly useless, we navigated using google maps. When we got to where the pin was, we couldn't find the property, and neither the staff that had called us earlier in the day, nor the numbers provided on Booking and Google were answered. We must have called at least 15 times, normal, as well as WhatsApp. Terrible first impression.
2. They had some civil work going on on the property, and the cottage we were given had no privacy. There were civil about workers in the frontward and adjacent to it throughout our stay, it was quite dusty and noisy, and we couldn't use the outdoor bench/area to relax at all. The ventilator in the living space/kitchenette didn't have a shade so anyone could peek into the property.
3. The dealbreaker: the adjacent space seems to be where the sewage tank for the property is, and our bathroom was always stinking, from before we began to use it. The bathroom ventilator was high and designed to stay open, I guess, so there was no way for us the keep that small out.
4. Lots of ants and lizards inside, over the walls and ceiling.
5. No room cleaning was done during our stay - if we were expected to ask for it, we weren't informed of the policy when we arrived, and the reception staff member was not at the desk half the time.
