Charming, very clean, well maintained cabin in peaceful setting. Thoroughly enjoyed the serenity of this cabin with back deck and dock for viewing lake sunsets and night star gazing. Also wonderful area for walks and bike rides around the peninsula the cabin is located on!

We were looking for kind of a secluded cabin and that is what this was. Close to the water and dock, perfect for us. Would have liked to have a clean coffee pot, we did not use it.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Musky Shack. It's a very nice little cabin on a perfect spot on the shores of LCO with beautiful views of sunset over the lake. Has all the amenities you could need for a northwoods vacation.

The cabin was perfect for our 4 night stay! The dock for our boat was so convenient and we had a blast fishing! The property was so quiet and exactly what we needed to reboot. Thanks for everything!

This was the perfect spot for a mother(94yo)/daughter(67 yo) get away. We had many places to visit while here and it was nice to come back to a peaceful, quiet spot at the end of a busy day. We enjoyed the sunset, quiet, occasional call of the loon, and the morning mist rising off the lake.

It was my fault that I did not realize that there was no air conditioning. It topped out at 86 degrees inside the cabin but thankfully it was only that hot for 2 days of our stay. Fishing was good off the dock for Largemouth Bass & Sunfish. If I owned the property I would install blinds on the patio doors, install a larger TV and a window air conditioner. Very quiet and relaxing location!

This place is awesome! The privacy was great, the size of the cabin was good for us and was very clean. The fishing was good so long as you have baits that can get through weeds. It was very enjoyable and relaxing with only the sounds of the water lapping and critters going about their day. Loved taking the rowboat out on the water and sitting on the dock too. We will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I stayed at this property to enjoy the lake, fishing, and exploring. The cabin was exactly as described. We enjoyed our stay and access to the lake. The owners live Next door and we’re very responsive to questions. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time biking roads, kayaking and watching movies. Quiet and pleasant. David was available next door for any needs. Clean cabin and comfortable space. There is a dock, but water front access for kayaks was a little tricky due to high dock and shoreline protected. Musky Bay is pretty, and preserved on one side as it is low lands/ wetlands. This means a lot of weeds in the waterfronts - not swimmable for instance. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!

This cabin is a true gem!! David and Kathy are phenomenal hosts! We had such a fun time and were blown away by: the location, the view, the cabin/amenities (fire pit! dock/excellent fishing! Canoe! Grills!), comfy bed/ linens, cozy decor, fully stocked kitchen…even fresh flowers!!Beautiful inside and out. And such thoughtful, generous hosts. 5-stars! and we hope to go back!!

We had a wonderful experience here! We stayed for a mini getaway for our 1 year wedding anniversary! We brought our own kayaks and had great luck catching large mouth bass off the dock and in the kayaks! Highly recommend, and we will probably be coming back next year!

Cozy one-BR perfect for two. Very clean, modern updates, nicely decorated, full kitchen, nice (if small) bathroom, nice (if small) bedroom. Quiet, relaxing. Loons calling in the morning and evening. We had a rainy day, but it was a relaxing pleasure to sit and read and stare out at the lake.

We had a perfect place to relax, cook and sleep while in the area visiting our extended family at their cabins. We enjoyed the restaurant/establishment on the lake as well. The lake in the Bay area near the property was difficult for us to get our boat in and out of due to being very weedy. This might be just a seasonal thing this year. We did dock our boat until we used it one day and loaded it back on the trailer after that day trip. Overall our day on the lake which was beautiful!

Perfect size for two people - has what you need and nothing you don't! We caught lots of smallmouth bass and some walleye during our stay. Lots of firewood and fresh flowers on the table when we arrived. Wonderful views of the lake from both inside the cabin and the backyard.
