About this house rental
Our lovingly restored 1920s home blends original New Orleans character with all the conveniences you expect on vacation. With high ceilings, reclaimed wood accents and thoughtfully chosen furnishings, the space feels both historic and stylish. Three bedrooms (two queen beds, two twin beds) and two updated bathrooms provide ample room for up to six guests. You’ll have a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, cookware, spices and an espresso machine; a cozy living area with a smart TV and a dedicated workspace; and an in‑unit washer/dryer. Central A/C and ceiling fans keep you comfortable year‑round, though one rear bedroom can be slightly warmer on summer afternoons—portable fans are provided. Outside, relax on the front porch or back deck and enjoy free street parking (paid lots are nearby).
We’re in Central City, an emerging neighborhood just a 10‑minute drive to the French Quarter and a 12‑minute walk to the St. Charles streetcar. It’s not a tourist hub, and grocery options aren’t within walking distance, so plan ahead or use delivery. Because the home is part of a triplex, you’ll hear normal household sounds and should observe quiet hours (9 PM–8 AM). No parties, pets or smoking. Primary renters must be at least 25 years old.

Neighborhood seems a little misleading at first. After entering the home, first impressions immediately went away. Home was warm and cozy, clean and just enough amenities to keep us comfortable during our stay. Neighborhood was quiet and neighbors friendly. We were only a 10 minute drive from french quarters and main downtown, great location. Only complaint about area is there are no markets or grocery stores nearby for essentials like food and drink, had to take an uber. Other than that, home was as described and host was very friendly and communicative. Would definitely consider staying again in the future.

We had a great stay at this beautifully decorated property just a short uber from the convention center—super convenient for our trip! The space was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with stylish touches that made it feel welcoming and comfortable.One of the best parts of the stay was the hostess—she was incredibly helpful, responsive, and genuinely cared that we had a good experience. Any questions or concerns were quickly addressed, which made a big difference.That said, there were a few issues worth noting. Despite the air conditioning, the unit stayed quite warm during the day and into the evening. The AC would constantly readjust the temperature warmer than set. Even with fans, it was warm. The hostess did bring an additional fan when we contacted her about the issue. Curtains or blackout shades would go a long way in helping with both temperature control and privacy. Additionally, the neighbors could be a bit noisy at times, especially in the evenings, which might be something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper.Overall, the location and design of the space, combined with the outstanding host support, made this a solid choice—just be prepared for some heat and bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise.

House was a nice space for my family and I. Bathroom towels could have been cleaner, house was very warm even with the fans circulating and the AC set to 70. Would book again but need the AC situation fixed.
