Situated in Houghton, this attractive house for $167 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Welcome to Main St BnB! Our location is the perfect spot for your needs! We are conveniently located close to town. Just 3 miles to Michigan Tech and 2 miles to downtown Houghton. Close to Michigan Tech Trails. Access to snowmobile trails! Plenty of parking for snowmobile trailers. *Located in Houghton, MI Upper Penninsula NOT near Houghton Lake Lower MI* The space The kitchen has everything you need should you decide to cook including pots and pans, toaster, hand mixer, griddle, mixing bowls, and dishes to name a few. The walk-in pantry is great for those on a longer stay to store your items out of the way. The kitchen/dining area also has a coffee bar with a keurig coffee pot & a few complimentary kcups, creamers and tea to start your day off just right! On the main floor we have a laundry room, living room, kitchen with dining area, three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and a small private office room should you need to work away from home! Off of the master bathroom is a small deck to enjoy the sounds of nature! Also in the master bathroom is a mini sauna! Pour on the steam and cool off on the deck. Spacious basement for kids to play including a playhouse & toys. The basement has two bedrooms and a half bath for your use. Also in the basement is an area for winter gear to be hung to enjoy the next days adventures outdoors. The backyard is perfect for yard games and has a set of swings for the kids! Feel free to park your vehicle or snowmobiles in the attached garage during the winter months. TV in living room and master room are smart TVs and wifi is available Guest access Guests have access to backyard, attached garage and home. Other things to note The detached garage is for our personal use, you may see us come and go, here or there, but we do not use it on a regular basis.

This was a last minute choice as our group expanded and we needed more accomodations. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Very close to all of our activities. will book again.

Great size kitchen and dining area, nice large yard. Not too far from many great beaches and must see spots in Keweenaw Peninsula. 5 bedrooms were all well kept and clean. We also enjoyed the firepit one night too. Would stay again.

Great property! Very quiet location, well maintained and very clean. Home owners communicated well. Great patio/firepit area. Absolutely no complaints. Would recommend this beautiful home to anyone staying in the area.

We had 7 people stay in the house for a week's summer vacation. 3 Married generations (grand parents, parents, daughter & husband) and an 18 year old. Plenty of room to spread out into the bedrooms, but great common areas in kitchen, dinning, living room, and outdoor fire pit patio. Kitchen was fantastic: well stocked with pots, spices, etc. Double oven and large 5 burner stove helped with a big group. Separate coffee bar area on other side of kitchen helped remove from congestion in the kitchen. Entire house was well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, soap, etc which helped avoid an emergency run to the store for supplies. House is well maintained. Close to everything but still has an out in the country feel. Stores less than 10 minutes away. Downtown Houghton is 10 minutes and Copper Harbor 1 hour. Would stay again if we come back to this area.

there were 3 couples in our group, everyone had a great time. due to lack of snow could not leave from house, having 2 driveways made getting in and out a breeze. the couple that stayed in basement said,"was a little chilly", used an electric heater from trailer to take the chill away. Awesome house will stay there again!!!

Great owners and home. Very clean remodeled home with plenty of bedrooms and amenities. Six of us spent 4 nights and hit 600 miles in 3 days of riding. Staging out of this location with trail access at the mailbox worked great! Dumps you onto Trail 3 just south of Houghton. Will likely rent this property again next year.

If you are going to the Houghton area and have young children this place is perfect. If the weather is less than ideal like it was for our stay it was great to have a large indoor area to turn the kids loose and not have to worry about something getting broke. The house itself was wonderful and the sauna was a definite plus. Next time we go back to the area, we definitley want to stay here again.

Kitchen is very well laid out and easy to work with. Home is bigger in person than we thought in the pictures. The use of the garage was very nice and helpful. All around nice place to stay. Very relaxing.

It was just my husband and I, but the place is big with enough room for a large group. Great location to everything in Houghton but feel like you're in the country. Well stocked, clean, everything you need. Fabulous price!

Great place to reconnect with Houghton. It’s very convenient and a cozy place to wind down. Really, can you top a day at Lake Superior? Yes, if it ends with a sauna. Thanks!

We came to the UP with 3 of our 4 sons (1 in his 20s and the other 2 are teens) to visit friends. This house was SO perfect! To save money, I brought a lot of food to prepare and enjoyed cooking in this gorgeous kitchen! Everyone had plenty of space to spread out and we had a blast exploring the surrounding area and spending time with friends. For families with smaller children, the yard and basement are fabulous! The hosts have thought of every thing you may need and were very acommodating and quick to answer our questions. I hope we have a chance to return to this place again!!

Siblings from across the country gathered to honor their brother (Michigan Tech senior) in his final regular season home games. The house and location were fabulous. There was even ample parking for the cars of the local family members who gathered for family games in the evenings. The children loved the basement play space, too. We would definitely return!

We had to come up and bury our son. The Kangas home provided the comfort and space for our family. Plenty of beds, the kitchen is equipped with just about everything you need. The sauna was amazing. I used it every night. Thank you Talia and Brian!

This is an excellent place to stay. It is about a 4 minute drive to MTU to see our daughter. There is a lot of room. The basement would be great for younger kids. If it had been snowing the garage would have really been handy.

Talia was very responsive and a gracious host. The house was extremely clean, organized and decorated perfectly. Everything you need is right where you would expect it. The house is wonderful for kids and adults alike with many options of activities for those of all ages and lots of space to spread out both indoors and outdoors!
