What is nearby: Heavenly Village CA is four miles away. Heavenly Mountain Resort NV (Boulder and Stagecoach Lodges) is a two-mile drive. East Peak is just under six and a half miles away driving. Zephyr Cove Snowmobiling Tours are just under seven miles away for you winter birds to see the area in a whole new way. Do not worry summer-loving guests Clearly Tahoe is nine and a half miles away offers unique tours of the lake through clear-bottom kayak tours. Hiking trails at the end of our street. Kingsbury North Trailhead is under two miles hike away. Lake Tahoe is five to seven miles away (depending on your preferred site) perfect for you to spend the day lakeside. Zephyr Cove with beach volley ball nets, big beaches, and boat rentals 6.4 miles away. This includes any diners or gatherings you may have. *Fireworks, wood fire pits, and charcoal BBQ's are illegal in the Lake Tahoe Basin. *Please be neighborly! Help us to keep our home a vacation rental! Our home is in a residential neighborhood, and Douglas County has STRICT NOISE ORDINANCES that must be adhered to (including but not limited to around the hot tub. Quiet hours from 9pm - 8am DAILY). *Hot tub use is not allowed between 9 pm - 8 am. *Smoking is not permitted on the property. *Over-occupancy, excess vehicles, or excessive noise will result in eviction at your expense including loss of deposit and may result in additional fines (you will be responsible for any fines incurred). Noise monitoring equipment is installed and monitored (does not listen or record). Parking Notes: Please adhere to the NevadaDOT traffic advisories during winter storms. Traction tires and/or 4x4s drive may be required. 4 cars allowed at house at any time. There is no street parking per county and fire safety rules. This was perfect for our family New Year's vacation! There were 7 of us (parents, grandparents, 3 teenagers) and we had plenty of room to be together but have our own space. Lots of family meals, games around the table, hot tub time, and hiking around the area. It's about 3 miles from town - a perfect distance to be close but away from the crowds of the main drag. The owners are VERY responsive to inquiries or any help needed.

Wonderful spot for a getaway weekend! Fawn was extremely helpful and the property was in a beautiful and convenient location. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay, spacious and great kitchen and common area for large group! The outside was very beautiful to enjoy coffee with some great nature views. Only negative would have been the bathroom lighting (it’s very dark) and no full length mirrors, which for a group of gals was a bummer but otherwise it was great, clean, cozy yet still felt very spacious and not crammed!

We shouldn’t have worried because at night the house stayed really cool and during the day we opened the living room windows for a nice breeze. Small fans were also provided in each bedroom. Everything was in great working order and the hosts were super responsive with any questions we had. Will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed this beautiful home for three days while in Tahoe for a family wedding. The house is located on a very quiet street so street noise was never a concern. Great location to all that Tahoe has to offer. Every amenity was available to us which helped make for a very comfortable and memorable stay. Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at Rich and Fawn's place in February, and it was great. My husband and a few of our close friends stayed here as the location was perfect for getting to the slopes, and the house had everything we needed. Rich and Fawn were so nice and answered any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

We had two families stay here and it was the perfect place for our group of 8. The kids enjoyed the bunkbed play room downstairs and the adults got to hang out in the open kitchen/dining/living area upstairs. The highlight was getting to the ski slopes in less than 5 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! From my first conversation with the host to our check out, everything was seamless. There was a total of 3 couples that stayed and this house was perfect for our group! The house was spotless and just like the pictures on the website.
The outside space in the backyard was lovely. Perfect for our grill master who utilized the grill and the hot tub, who everyone enjoyed. This home is close enough to S. Lake Tahoe but far enough away to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the area. Would definitely book this house again in the future!

There were a few things that were unexpected and inconvenient, which left a poor impression with all of us:
- The BBQ was extremely dirty and propane tank was almost empty; discovered after we returned from market and were ready to grill. (grill caked up w/grease and remnants from prior use; old burnt pieces of food on the grill,; dried up sauces/marinade all over side shelves and front panel).
- Only one extra roll of toilet paper per bathroom??
- No cleaning supplies.
- Hot tub was nice, but most of the jets did not appear to be working.
- Back deck was great, but no electrical outlets (that we could find).

We had a reunion with siblings and spouses and the house worked out great. Good location in quiet neighborhood, close to trails in fact you can just walk out the front door and go up the road and get on trails. Just minutes from being down at Lake Tahoe also.

Perfect size house for 3 families during MLK destination. Adults got their own bedroom upstairs while the kids loved the bunkroom room! Each room had its own flatscreen smart TV.
The beautiful gourmet kitchen island made cooking a joy. Everyone loved the hot tub outdoor as well! This is a very residential neighborhood so quiet hours after dark and no street parking are enforced. Chart House is only a few minutes away as is Stateline.
Appreciated the quick communication from the owners. Even texts you beforehand so you have their contact info. Will stay here again!
