We felt like home here.. because the food and the ambience was really nice and calm. It is a must visit place.

The stay was OK

Very comfortable stay ,the Homestay is situated in very peaceful area, the staff were very polite .. taste-wise all foods ordered were good and homely - though no items were complimentary , everything was charged , the room price is a bit on higher side & size-wise rooms are smaller too in comparison to images shown in booking.com, Similar facilities around Dehradun are available at much lower cost, no outside food was allowed too , nor any food delivery apps. provides service in the area .

Its far away from Dehradun city, in the outskirt in an under-developing area , no Ola or Uber services available, it took 40 minutes to get hold of a cab, the one-way base price starting from city to Riverside home was Rs. 300 which definitely is on higher side, own vehicle owners can opt for this homestay .

A nice boutique stay

The aesthetics are very nice, and the overall feel of the place is good. The staff was very cooperative as well.

The mattresses are not comfortable at all and there is no ventilation in the room so it can get a little suffocating.

Perfect

The best stay I would recommend to everyone. Specially the owner is so gentle and polite. He personally greeded us, It was a complete home like stay. Best part was they play a very soothing music during breakfast, lunch or dinner which adds a diffrent standard to the homestay.. If I am in Dehradun I will stay here for sure.

I must say very beautiful property. The whole property is well maintained and very clean. One can not find the dust particles. Food was just as good as home cooked food.

No doubt the taste of the food was good but The only thing i didn't liked is that whatever we asked in the food items the cook present over there was refusing most of the items...like he refused for cucumber in the salad...he didn't have the lemons in the kitchen...as these are the basic things which need to be available in the kitchen ...even we asked for extra pooris in the breakfast but he responded that he already served according to the per plate system so after insisting he cooked some more of them. This is the only thing that bothers us.rest of the stay is wonderful 👍

Highly recommend, doesn't matter if you are traveling solo or with family.

I was on a solo trip to Uttarakhand & was seeking a night stay in Dehradun, having flown in from Mumbai. This location is awesome. The place is clean and tidy & the staff is very good. It's a nice place snugged away from the hustle and bustle & ideal if you are looking for some peace & tranquility. It wasn't too crowded on my dates there ( 28-29th Dec 22) and that's precisely what I wanted. The staff is warm & welcoming and the cook was an awesome one. I could also meet Mr. Jaiswal, the owner of the property, who was really helpful in suggesting areas to see around and gave some important tips on planning my next leg of travel to Chopta, Rudraprayag. I live in Melbourne and have traveled to 19 countries for far.. I must say hands down, this was one of most economic yet memorable stays I had at Riverside homes. Definitely recommend staying here.

I can't think of anything at all. Everything was just fine & perfect.

Riverside Homes is a desired to stay . Our stay was long but the hospitality and comfy feel that we received will stay for more. My personal recommendation whenever you plan to visit the place.. Don't miss out to meet Captian Jaiswal. He's truely a gem & never know you may find many things to learn to his discretion. There staff, location perfect for stay. We stayed here for two days. Aesthetically beautiful, pleasant interiors, away from the bustle and chaos of city, tasty hygienic homemade food, spacious well-equipped rooms, cooperative staff and owner. Thank you very much. We will visit again.
