The hotel's view of the Caldera is simply breathtaking: you can see Fira and Oia clearly, from a privileged angle and without any visual barriers. The atmosphere is intimate and very peaceful, ideal for those seeking rest. Unfortunately, we had some very windy days and couldn't have breakfast on the balcony, but the scenery remains incredible. The location is perfect for exploring the wineries and beaches of the island's south at your leisure.
The hotel staff deserves a perfect score — everyone was extremely attentive, helpful, and made us feel truly welcome from beginning to end.
The structure is a bit old and would benefit from some updates. Having Smart TVs in the rooms would make a big difference, and the bathroom is a bit uncomfortable because the shower shares the same space with the toilet without adequate separation, getting everything wet during showering. In addition, the whirlpool tub deserves a more thorough cleaning routine.
Overall, the friendliness of the staff and the view compensate for many of these details, but small renovations would make the experience perfect.

We spent a week at Astarte Suites, and all the staff were highly professional and attentive. They were always available for our every request. The rooms were spotless—every morning they were cleaned and the linens were changed. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The views of the caldera were absolutely breathtaking. We highly recommend this property!
