Everything from location, accommodation, food, grounds a d staff were absolutely delightful.
Absolutely nothing.

Absolutely stunning cottage overlooking a beautiful vineyard. Excellent breakfast provisions. Very cosy accommodation with luxury products, linen and furnishings.
Wine tasting and sharing platter in the tasting room was exceptional. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.
8 / 10Excellent·May 2025
Beautiful location with excellent manicured gardens. Absolutely love the bed, so luxurious and comfortable. Bathroom was a generous size with excellent water flow from a rain head shower rose and heated flooring. The outdoor covered verandah was a perfect spot to relax and sip wine.
The combined living and kitchen area was slightly cramped. The lounge was beside the television and not in front which was not a comfortable arrangement for two people if watching television. There was no fireplace which was disappointing and we were not aware of this due to photos of both properties and the fireplace was actually in the larger accommodation. There was no where to hang clothing. There was no microwave.

The accommodation itself is stunning — beautifully presented with attention to detail, a delicious breakfast, and luxurious touches like heated bathroom floors, expensive bedding linen, exceptional styling choices. Greenock is a picture-perfect town, good pub and cafe. Loved it!
However, the service unfortunately fell short for the price point.
Staff were not welcoming upon arrival (no introduction, abrupt payment request), and when we raised concerns about a misleading website presentation regarding the house size and amenities (we had hoped for a fireplace in the smaller cottage), the complaint was handled awkwardly and dismissively. I have had more professional treatment at cheap hostels overseas.
Warmer, more professional service would elevate this property to match its beautiful surroundings.
