This is a Quite & safe family neighborhood in which to relax, unwind and to take long walks with family and dog. Its breath taking to see the varity of glorius Masions. Entire 3 bedroom home(sleeps six) 2 full Baths with attached garage for added safety and protection. Private fully fenced back yard with patio for family cookouts on the propane grill. Large kitchen with attached private sunroom decorated with 60's decor. Full access to compete Laundry utility room. Chef Dan has made sure the kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking utensils needed to cook the family a 4 course meal. Close to highland square for Shopping Entertainment and Fine Variety of Cusines.

Overall we thought the house was nice and in a great location. There was plenty of space for our family. Communication from the host was great. We really appreciated having two full bathrooms, the fenced in back yard, Sun room, and well stocked kitchen.

Our stay was wonderful! House was in a very safe and beautiful area. We were late arrivals and home owners left us a basket of fruit and snacks. How incredibly nice was that! The children loved the kids area and never wanted to leave. Lots of space and a wonderful area for cooking. Outdoor fenced in area was beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed staying at this house for our time in Akron. The neighborhood is safe and friendly; it only took us 30 minutes to get home from a concert at Blossom, which was a real plus. Dan was an accessible and friendly host, and we would definitely rent this home again the next time we're in the area. Yes, it's an older home but it felt like we were AT HOME (i.e, nothing contrived). Style points for a wood plaque from Strasburg; my family had the same one from our European travels! Thank you to Dan for providing us with a very nice accommodation!

This was a very comfortable house in a very nice neighborhood. We chose it because it has a fenced-in yard for our dog. Communication with the owner was very easy. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

House as listed in a great neighborhood close to market, restaurants and Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Dan was a great host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I have family in this area and will certainly stay here on my next visit. We travel and rent a lot and this rental was great!

Dan's house was accurately described and served as a convenient home base for our Ohio visit. Centrally located about 40 minutes from both Canton, where we visited the NFL Hall Of Fame, and 40 minutes from the Cleveland area where we had an AKC scentwork event with our two shepherds. Fenced back yard was a plus! Beds were comfy and house had everything we needed including some retro charm. Thanks for letting us stay at your house, Dan!

As much I wanted to like the property, it was creepy. It appears that it was an older person's home and it got turned into a vacation rental without much thought or preparation. There were very odd, dated 'dustables' everywhere, some from past Christmases (like 40 years ago) and it was not clean. The only good thing was the twin mattresses. I found a dog toy and a lot of dog hair under the bed and along the base boards. All the appliances were very old, and not clean. In every drawer and cupboard throughtout the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room and closets there were strange random items, debris and dirt. The shower doors were rusty, there were cobwebs and dead bugs all over. The whole thing was kind of creepy, and it smelled so musty that the smell followed me home. I would recommend doing a very thorough cleaning and repairs. Also, remove all of the previous owners personal items and trinkets. I also think this property has serious 'retro-vibe' potential and for a minimum investment can be brought up to a level that would warrant an increase in rental fee. It served it's purpose but I would not recommend to anyone, I'm very sorry to say. The host was accomodating and nice.

Great place! We really enjoyed our vacation. This home is in a really nice, upscale and quiet neighborhood. Neighborhood alone is worth walking around and looking at all the different homes, some of which were built in the 20s in the Tudor style. Also, only about a half mile from the Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens. Fenced in yard was perfect for our dog.
We would definitely stay here again.

The property has a fenced in back yard, nice patio with table and chairs. There is a bird feeder as well. Nice neighborhood too.

Really nice, roomy house in a great location. Twenty minutes to the Ledges and the rest of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, seven minutes on foot to Stan Hywet Hall. Couldn't have been nicer.

Short stay for search and rescue seminar
House was very nice and clean. Neighborhood was great. As a matter of fact I accidentally left the sliding door open on my van all night ,with all my gear inside ,and it was fine in the morning! My K9 partner enjoyed the fenced-in back yard too
