We needed a hotel close to Piraeus - Blue Star ferry (gate 6 or 7) and the hotel was ideal. We travelled to Piraeus by metro from Athens airport and the hotel was just 5minutes walk away from the metro and the Blue Star gates. There were 2 good pastry/bakery shops with good pastries, spanakopita etc and open long hours just opposite these port gates. There were 2 bars/eateries within 5mins walk and we could have a wine and choose from a huge range of baguettes to eat in or take away. The hotel was a bit more expensive but worth it for proximity to food, ferry and metro.
The room was very functional - unlike many that we have experienced that choose looks over being useful to the guest. Bathroom - good shower, basin, bench space. Room has a small but useful sofa, king bed, jug to make coffee, good bedside lighting which is unusual. Also some friendly and some helpful staff.
One of the staff could not tell me where the Blue Star ferry ticket office was, yet the hotel is within 5minutes walk of the ferry region - surely you should know this - not very helpful!

clean rooms and location is very convenient if you want to take a ferry to another island, the staff was very friendly as well
the neighbourhood was a bit sketchy, other than that everything was fine

Location was perfect and the view was so nice, they were very thoughtful with the stuff they put for us in terms of snacks and sunscreen and aftersun so cute
The fridge made so much noise we had to turn off the switch from the main DB to be able to sleep which turned off many things with it which was annoying, they didn’t change the towels or sheets for the stay
