It's not dislike but add room heater will be a improve. There has no view from room.

Very centrally located, within walking distance of markets, mall, railway station etc. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet and cosy. Our host was very helpful and generous with his time and his great knowledge of Darjeeling.

The Breakfast was good and with every day there was a new dish provided. The Thupka was Amazing and it felt like a home away from home. Romel was so Helpful, Polite, Courteous and Professional I felt really fortunate for all the times when we had an opportunity to interact with him. He was informative and provided us with insights into Darjeeling as a Place, it's History and Heritage and also provided information related to places we could visit, what were the best times, where we could get cabs and also accompanied us to the taxi stand on the first day when we were looking to book a car for sightseeing. He also was kind enough to extend our stay by a day and was always available when we required any help. A Big Thank you to you and your Family, Romel for the Beautiful Hospitality. P.S: The WIFI at SVR Inn is Amazing across the rooms and even in the dining area.
I cannot think of anything that could be a deterrent in my entire duration at SVR Inn

Central location, friendly host
You are locked inside the property at night. Romel locks you in behind thick metal gates with a padlock to which only he has the key. Good luck getting out in the event of a fire. If you wake up early and want to go for a walk at sunrise you can’t, you’re locked inside until Romel lets you out. Romel misled me by telling me I could flick some latches on the door to get out, but he didn’t say he locked the exit to the building as well which we couldn’t pass. They could least use a combination lock and give guests the code.
Hot water takes 15 mins to heat up because the host doesn’t want you leave it on to save energy, but only last 2-3 minutes at a trickle. Would be a bit painful for two people
Heaters not included in the price of the room. It was cold at night. The electricity is turned off when you take the key, so you can’t charge cameras etc while you’re out
