I did not have breakfast.
The pillows were very strong and not flexible.

It was clean, warm, and the location was good and convenient. It is easy to park and there are cameras monitoring the parking lot. About restaurants, it is a small town so don’t expect many options there. There is a small restaurant with local food that opens until late (they don’t accept cards to pay, but this is normal in Germany). There is also a McDonalds, which can save the day.
The checkin process. In the beginning I received an email with the instructions but the link to generate the pincode was not working correctly. I tried to call several times but staff was not available until we could reach out to them through the emergency phone.
They resent the instructions again but the link was not working either. In the end they sent an sms and we could complete the process. Apparently they sent an sms but it lands in the „unkown sender” folder. This is not mentioned in the email and instructions were not fully clear. Another traveler and his family had the same issue and got stuck for a while outside the hotel in freezing cold temperatures. Fortunately I could assist them in the process.
As mentioned to the staff during the phone call, I think the checkin process should be reviewed to make it more clear, easy, and straightforward, especially if we take into consideration that staff may not be available and may not speak English (though in our situation, they did).
