Situated in Severna Park, this lovely house for $149 per night is a great choice for your next break. Nicely furnished, two story, 2745 sq ft. “colonial”, is located in quiet suburb of Baltimore and Annapolis. 45 minutes to DC. Close to BWI airport, and easy commute to Washington, Baltimore, or Annapolis. Lot is large, pleasantly landscaped, and partially wooded, and private. Back yard is large and is fenced. This is a side road of a side road, so there is little traffic, and it is quite tranquil, yet we can factually say our location is only a two traffic lights from Miami, Florida or Portland, Maine. Many will find its access to the Chesapeake Bay of interest. Our community has a boat ramp for small boats on the Magothy River, which is a tributary of the bay. Beachwood Park is a county park, a mile away, where locals flock to fish for white perch in early April. Downs Park is on the “real” bay, and is lovely to walk or fish from the long pier. Floor plan of our home is one downstairs suite, and 3 available upstairs bedrooms. First floor also has kitchen, smallish dining room, large family room and living room. Plenty of room to either be together, or apart. TV’s in every room, save closets and baths. Kitchen has WOLF range, VIking Induction cooktop, Viking warming drawer, Thermidor micro, Bosch fridge and dishwasher. Disposal. Granite counters, quartersawn 7 inch plank Vermont white oak floors. Adjoining is a dining room with radiant heated travertine floor. Also, a walk-in pantry, which will be stocked with essentials. Plenty of horsepower here to cook a wonderful meal and entertain. Head north from the kitchen, 700 sq ft family room with real wood burning fireplace. High ceilings, view west sunset and east, our lovely fenced back yard, and gardens. Head south, our living room, with grand piano, medium size TV. Sofa, “love seat”, table and chair. Powder room adjoins. Upstairs, there is a master suite, and two larger than average bedrooms, plus laundry. There are two patios in the back to enjoy nature and watch the kids and dogs romp. Fire pit, and several cords of wood. Normally, in the spring and summer, we have a fruit and veggie garden, help yourself to ultimate in fresh and tasty black raspberries, blueberries, heirloom tomatoes, and herbs, in season. Small sitting area by front entrance is a nice place to feel the evening sun on your face, have a beverage, and watch the neighbors walking. Help yourself to our berry patch and veggie garden. Partial use of garage is negotiable. Basement is reserved. This has been our home for over 30 years, and our business model is simple: you rent our home, we take your money and travel. Removing our personal stuff is tedious, so we prefer longer stays of 2 weeks, up to a couple months. Weekly cleaning and lawn maintenance is included in the price, as are other utilities, other than phone. Cancellation Policy: this is our primary residence and we probably will need to make arrangements to be away to accommodate you. If you feel that there is a reasonable chance you will cancel, we are not the folks for you. We understand that things happen, and cancellation might be required, but we require a $500 non-refundable deposit, returnable on checkout. That is payable directly to us, and not to VRBO. Think of it as a common security deposit or trip insurance. Security camera disclosure: exterior front and back. Interior: basement to observe water tank and sump pump. We are not interested in our guests comings and goings and rarely check cameras.

All the comforts of home! I had a very comfortable stay for my month in the area. The house (and kitchen) was furnished with everything you could need, and more. The house was very pet-friendly and my dog thoroughly enjoyed the big backyard. The house was located close to all the conveniences (stores, etc.) and neighboring Annapolis. The owners were very nice and attentive to any questions I may have had.

We enjoyed our stay at Mark and Jan’s home in suburban Maryland. The home is comfortably furnished with a great kitchen for the times we ate in. The beds are very comfortable and because the neighborhood is quiet, we slept well every night. We plan to be back for our next house-hunting trip and hope their place is available once we have definite dates. Thank you for being such great hosts!😊

I am a Christian Pastor and my family and I were led by The Lord to explore the area and spiritual soil of the area overall. We had great communication with our hosts. They had an absolutely lovely yard, front and back, with amazing things growing and blooming almost weekly, from rose gardens to lillies, to amazing birds and back yard quiet resting spot. The neighbors were amazing and made us all feel right at home on both sides. People were friendly and very safe neighborhood for riding bikes and walking. Certainly would recommend this place. Super easy and nice drive to Annapolis and otherwise to other locations, whether heading to DC or Baltimore or even the Eastern Shore. We had a great day of sailing in the harbor as well, one of our passions. A beautiful home, inside and out, with everything you could need. Out stay could not have been better. The home was lovely and had all of the comforts of home and then some. A welcome book was provided that offered all of the information about the property as well as the surrounding area which was incredibly helpful. My only regret was not coming a few weeks later to be able to take advantage of the amazing berries planted in their beautiful gardens. This was our best VRBO stay to date and will be hard to top.

We stayed in this home for 54 nights before we were able to move into our newly purchased home nearby. The home was convenient to many shops and felt very safe and homey. My kids loved the room with extra kid touches and they loved the spacious backyard. The TV room with the comfy couch was very relaxing. We appreciated the upfront communication and extra details from the owner, he went above our expectations.
