Staying here was a beautiful experience.
The owner Eric was very welcoming and kind.
The place itself is so beautiful. A little oasis tucked away. It felt like home.
I kept extending my stay because it was truly a place of peace for me.
Easy walk into town. Everything you need here and more.

Amazing breakfast. Very special, sweetheart staff. As a solo traveler female, I felt very well taken care of.
The view from the deck is amazing and cannot be beat.
Sometimes you have to ask for toilet paper but that comes with the type of place this is. You gotta look out for each other and keep in mind that the price is very low and run by locals. Easily you could stay at one of the more “viral” / trendy locations nearby, but you wouldn’t get an authentic experience and often you get harassed by staff at those places (literally nickel and dimed, trust me).

I really liked the dorm, it had a lot of spaces and big single beds.
Eric and Moises were really friendly and chill people, who made me feel welcome.
Breakfast was really good, especially the fresh tea with ingredients of the garden.
I even added a night, cause I likes San Marcos that much.

Room and bed were very comfortable. Common spaces were a nice addition
Toilets, showers and kitchen were all gross. The same clump of hair stayed in the shower for our entire 4 day stay. There was no cleaning done the whole time we were there. Bathroom stalls and showers were filled with cob webs and spiders I was scared going to the bathroom at night. ‘Breakfast included’ was not really a thing. First morning we waited 45 mins for the free breakfast just for old mate to not even make an appearance. This place is very hippy and nothing gets done on time if that’s your thing then good but if you don’t want to wait an hour to check in maybe go elsewhere
