The home is as described and centrally located to wineries, Whitman College, and downtown. Easy entry/exit to home.
A couple of challenges: there is one heating/cooling system, so despite having the thermostat set to 58 (it was 25 degrees outside), the upstairs bedroom guests were sweating and had to run their air conditioners (which just pushed the hot air down further). Notified owner of a leaking Keurig and the heating/cooling issue, but no response. Carpets really need cleaning.
But the biggest issue is that I noticed a few little bites on my arms on the last day of our stay but didn't think much of it. By the next morning, I was covered in welts over both arms, my back, my neck and my forehead. I had alerted owner to this when we left and she responded she would have cleaners be extra diligent and said "sorry that happened." After I got home, I was in distress from scratching and went to my primary care physician who said I had bed bug bites all over me (about 100 bites). I alerted the owner again who responded that the mattress was new and they clean after every guest, so "sorry." VRBO was equally nonresponsive saying I should have let them know when we arrived there was a problem. I'll be honest, I have never even thought about checking beds for bed bugs when I check in. I will now - I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. And I'm out $200 for dr. visit and tub of steroid cream I have had to apply every day for last 7 days. Extremely disappointed in owner & VRBO.

The Juniper House was/is as pictured. This is a HUGE three story house with lots of amenities, inside and out. There are board games a-plenty, a nice backyard, fast wifi, three coffee makers. Kitchen drawers are well labeled and there are plenty of cooking supplies. The water pressure in the downstairs shower was weak (but not a deal breaker). I wish there was an ottoman downstairs in the TV "pit;" would have helped while we were watching Netflix ;)
There's also a full size washer/dryer (handy for families). Squishy robes are provided in the closet. The neighborhood is super quiet and the beds are marvelous! If you don't park in the back, make sure to park on the opposite side of the street from the house. The front porch was a nice place to sit and enjoy the weather after lunch. The neighborhood has some beautiful neo Victorian houses; perfect for a morning walk around. Neighbors are friendly and you will meet lots of cute dogs. The house is 5 - 10 mins from downtown and about 20 mins from the wineries we visited. I think we got a lot for our money and I would highly recommend this property for family reunions, girls' vay-cay, or couples visiting the vineyards.

The accommodations on this property were top-notch - we had a mix of three adults and seven kids and all were so comfortable in this roomy house. There was plenty for everyone to do, TV and game-wise, multiple places to eat, relax - I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Everything was great all weekend. The house was a great experience and better than advertised. My wife had a problem with the downstairs shower temperature the first day. It may have been misunderstanding of the handle.

The house and proprietor were fantastic. It was a girls trip. We loved sitting on the front porch every morning drinking coffee and then walking downtown through gorgeous neighborhoods to visit shops, restaurants and wineries. We would definitely recommend!

This was the perfect house for our Angie's Girls trip. I had Aunts, 2 of my favorite adult cousin visit from the Midwest. We road tripped from NE corner of WA state to Oregon Coast. I wished we would have spent 2 nights...next time!

Wonderful home! Loved spending time on porch with morning coffee. Fully stocked kitchen and great bedrooms, video games etc. A perfect place to celebrate my sons graduation from Whitman. Really beautiful neighborhood and plenty of space for relatives. The host Patty could not have been more accommodating. Recommend to anyone that needs more space and wants a completely memorable experience of Walla Walla in one of the best neighborhoods. Older homes with mature trees- just lovely.

We stayed the weekend at this property with 2 other couples for wine tasing and golf. The pictures do not do this house justice. It was so pretty! We loved walking downtown and loved the front porch too. Any questions or concerns we had were answered promptly by Patty! Thank you for sharing this amazing home with us!

We are four ladies (79 to 86 years old) who get together once a year at a VRBO someplace. We found Juniper Guest House the perfect place to be in Walla Walla. Centrally located and in a lovely old neighborhood. We spent a lot of time just staying “home” and catching up with each other. And walks around the neighborhood. It’s been a wonderful experience.

Great place
The home had plenty of room for nine of us and those who came to visit. The game room was one of the best we had been in. The dining room was a little tight when we had 11 of us, but when the nine where in it was better. The front porch was our favorite place to hang out. The spices in kitchen was the most complete I have seen. Getting up and down stairs in house was more challenging for the over 70 crowd, they are a little steep and no hand rail. Owner was responsive when we needed a few things.

Our group of 4 couples had a great time. House is centrally located and easy drive to every corner of Walla Walla. Easily could have walked to town if the rainy weather hadn’t interfered, but we were able to enjoy the covered front porch even with the weather. Kitchen is well stocked and bedrooms comfortable.
