Top roof onsen; bed comfortable; buffet breakfast & dinner with crab legs. Morning time has sparking wine. Close to Hakodate airport.
Price too high; eating area-the table too close to next table and the area so small-so crowded.

The hotel and onsen infrastructure were relatively new, well maintained and very comfortable. The size of the room were generous and spacious. The breakfast and dinner were outstanding.
The location of the hotel is slightly out of the way from Hakodate city center, but it was not an issue for us with a rental car.

I stayed here for 1 day during April - Hakodate off-season.
Positive: The hotel feels new, the room was clean and nice. The onsen has nice view to the ocean (but no sauna).
Negative: The overall service was not great however. There was no shuttle bus from the station despite the distance. The dinner buffet has a variety of options, however the quality seems to not be very high: rice was not hot, no salmon in kaisendon counter, desserts with excessive cheap flavoring, small tables and small walkways that becomes an issue due to being too crowded (I tried to change to a table nearby to avoid the crowds, but was later informed that my new table was reserved-only, despite no indicator or signs prior, or any mentions of the possibility for reservation and was asked to move away). The freshly grilled scallops and crab miso were the highlights. The dining experience felt too similar to a business hotel (super hotel, comfort inn, smile hotel, etc), but this is a leisure hotel and the price was not close.
Overall, for this price point, I have enjoyed better services in a myriad of hotels/ryokans throughout Japan before. The cost-performance here is not great.
