We brought our family from Arizona to Universal Studios as a Christmas gift and the stay in this home was perfect. Perfect location, perfect space, perfect everything. The house had everything we needed from kitchen Utensils, Bathroom toiletries, extra blankets & towels. We loved our stay, and would recommend this home to anybody. Definitely a 5 star rating all the way around. The only negative thing I can say about this home is the back shower leaks water out onto the floor when you shower but we just mopped it up. Thank you for the hospitality.

Upscale neighborhood. House was spacious with plenty of room to relax. Patio deck was nice, but footwear required to avoid splinters and nails. Proximity to parks, shopping and theme parks.

This house is even nicer in person than the pictures give credit for! The neighborhood is really nice, with a great view and some street parking as well. Laundry wasn’t working at the time of our stay, but it wasn’t an issue. The rooms are nice and clean as well

Overall, this was a nice place to stay with our extended family (10 of us). There were some disappointing aspects, but if you go in expecting them, then you'll likely have a more positive experience then we did. See below for more details: The Good: - Clean House - Large Open Spaces - Nice neighborhood and location - Great view! The Bad: - Kitchen not well appointed. No cutting board, no napkins, no hand towels, no paper towels, random/sparse dishes, only cutlery for 6 people. At a minimum if you list your house to sleep 12 people, I would expect there to be enough dishware and cutlery to serve that many people. We were disappointed to arrive later in the day, hungry for dinner, only to find out there were no napkins and that we had to eat with our hands. The next day they delivered paper plates and plastic cutlery, but given how much we paid for the place it was disappointing (and wasteful) to have to eat off of paper plates. - Photos are inaccurate. The deck is significantly smaller than what is shown in several pictures (it appears to have been partially demolished). Still a great view, but not the expansive deck with lots of room for the kids to run around. There's also no lawn for the kids to run around as shown in the picture. There's also no basketball hoop as shown. And several of the rooms furniture is different. Again overall a nice place, but they need to update their photos. - Communication with the host was difficult and delayed. Wifi network wasn't what was said in the listing, wrote the host just after check-in and didn't hear back for a few hours. I'm used to hosts being on-call around the check-in time for new guests to help with any issues getting settled. Also, wasn't able to get the TV to work. Not a big deal, but he instructions in the guide and the follow-up instructions from the host weren't clear.

Here are some tips based on a 1 week stay in this nice house. - Great view from deck & picture windows; Lots of space & many comfortable places to sit; Well stocked with soaps + toilet paper, including laundry detergent + dish soap; Many books, including for kids; Good entertainment/tv setup; Quiet, upscale neighborhood - No dish towels or paper towels - Only 6 forks (more knives & spoons); lots of plates & mugs; pots & pans are large, no small ones - The drier stops before whatever you set it at, so keep an eye on it; otherwise it works fine. Clean the lint screen before using. - There are 2 thermostats - one for the main living area (living rooms, kitchen/dining, & front bathroom), and a second for the back bedrooms. Both must be connected to the wifi router before you can adjust them. The wifi router was off when we arrived. - A recycling can is on the side of the house - One of us was up early and saw a coyote in the back, which quickly ran off. The gardeners (who came on Tue) had left the side gate open, which is probably how it got in. Bedrooms: - 1 master bedroom with a king bed and a large 2-sink + shower bathroom - 2 bedrooms with a 2-sink + shower bathroom shared between them; one bedroom has a full-size bed, the other has a single/twin bed with an air mattress underneath to pull out - 1 bedroom with a full-size bed and a bathroom partially shared with the living/kitchen area (there is a toilet & sink room connected to the kitchen and door to a separate shower & sink room connected to the bedroom) - 1 large room with a single/twin bed and an air mattress underneath to pull out. This room is a remodeled garage and contains the washer & drier, an extra refrigerator, and a portable a/c unit. Make sure the a/c unit vents the heat out the window. - Although a bit long & winding, the road to Ventura Blvd and the freeway is quite fast. Of course, some of these may be different when you arrive. Enjoy your stay!
